Many would probably have blushed to find themselves in their underdress in front of mixed company. But it didn't cross Abigail's mind. She was still modest and honestly, the only thing that she even noticed about her current attire was that it was soaking wet. Thankfully the waters of the Caribbean were warm. That and the sun bearing down made any cause for chill naught. Still, her mother would have blushed and would have undoubtedly demanded a coat or something right away to hide her daughter's 'immodesty'. Abigail sat up, using her arms to brace her. She turned, her eyes widening just slightly as she realized her rescuer had seen the gold coin. "N...nothing." She stammered. "It's nothing." she looked away. Her eyes took in the cut corset. Thank you. She thought glad that she was not wearing it. The stupid thing not only weighed a lot but it really constricted breathing, and as it was she was still trying to regulate her breathing back. Her gaze turned back to the woman to get a better look but by that time they already had company. "Abigail." Elisabeth was there, practically pulling her up. There was immense concern in her eyes. Abigail gave a weak smile. "Hey." The Governor and Commodore Norrington were close behind her, the latter due to his intended bride. Several soldiers ran up as well and they formed up. "For Pete's sake, someone give me a coat or something." The Governor said being a lot like Abigail's mother. He draped it over her so as to cover her. His gaze turned to Vivienne who the Commodore was already eyeing distastefully. "Who are you?" Norrington asked. The two red coats brought forth Vivienne's weapons. "She 'ad these on, Sir." One said. "Said she was going to steal a ship." "No." Abigail pushed her way forward. "She rescued my life. She wouldn't steal a boat." Innocence and naivety. 18 was such a young age. Coomedere Norrington raised an eyebrow and then smiled at Vivienne. He bowed slightly and took her hand as if to kiss it only to push back the sleeve. "Pirate." He declared smirking as the brand of the East India Company became visible. "Guards take this woman to the jail. She'll hang come morning." "No!" Abigail pulled away from Elisabeth and put herself in front of the woman who one of the soldiers had just started to cuff. "She saved my life. You...You can't just kill her"
