It sounded like he blamed himself for some reason, even though she was the one that overreacted and gave him space while she collected her thoughts. Upon being offered a seat, she hesitated for a second, still anxious about potentially doing somethings so careless to him again. But she ultimately did sit beside him, smiling shyly as she contemplated what to say in between looking at him and the fire. "I'm sorry for leaving you like I did. I didn't mean to give the wrong impression, I... needed time to think," she peered at the fire, hoping he would understand, but willing to say more should he inquire.
