Shayne Kowalski Shayne responded with a slight chuckle as Nico made her comment about the map. It was insanely cartoony considering it Wachata was for 15 to 19 year old's. Although, once Nico made the comment about 'the mean girls', Shayne let out a much more sincere laugh. Maybe it was Nico's appearance, but Shayne wasn't expecting such someone so front forward with their sarcasm. Smiling, Shayne took the map back and stuffed it into her pockets. It was clear the girl was much more relaxed than when Nico first approached her. "Oh, no. I hadn't even considered finding a bunk or anything. Much else choosing a bunk partner. " Shayne stuffed her hands into her pants pockets, now brightly smiling at the fact that it seemed that Nico had made herself nervous, "But yeah, I think that's a great idea! I saw some girls heading that way earlier. So, we gotta hurry up and get our spots." Shayne smiled as she turned towards the trail, glancing back at Nico, "Thanks for coming up to me, by the way. I probably would of been standing there forever." Shayne's bright smile turned into a much more sheepish one now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Caleb Holderson Caleb smiled at the man's question, leaning forward off the wall. "Yeah, I am. I assume you're a new counselor?" Caleb asked, with a friendly smile. Caleb's hangover was still lagging him behind his normal attitude, but that wouldn't stop him from making sure a new counselor felt welcomed. The turnover for Camp Wachata's counselors was bad enough as it was, plus the new guy seemed to be nice enough. Sticking his hand forward to shake the new counselor's hand, Caleb introduced himself, "My name's Caleb, by the way. This is my third year here." Caleb's demeanor appeared to be sincere. This wouldn't be the first time Caleb helped out new counselors. However, last year, the new counselors he had helped decided not to return. That was understandable. Having new counselors around, though, was always fun for Caleb. Contrary to what most would think, cliques have a habit of forming as often amongst the counselors as they do amongst the campers. It could catch someone off-guard, and often leads new counselors not to return for a second year.
