Beep beep beep bee- Ally turned over and quickly shut off her alarm. She forgot to leave it unset in consideration for her roommates. Hopefully it didn't bother anyone, and if it did she would definitely apologize later. The woman took in a deep breath and rubbed her eyes, trying to wake herself up better. Her vision became a bit clearer and she stood, quickly making her way to the bathroom. The best way to wake up was always with showering. She hated the feeling of being oily or musty after sleeping and wanted it gone as quick as possible. The warm water greeted her skin, causing any soreness from her workout yesterday and stresses to melt away. She appreciated the accommodations of the house. It was much nicer than any house she stepped in, let alone lived in. As she shampooed her mind wondered back to home. Right now she was living in a small, one-room apartment in... well, not the best neighborhood. Her goals were to eventually move to a better neighborhood, get a higher paying job, and eventually start a family. People told her she was still young to be thinking like this, but she couldn't help it. After a little while, she realized she was wasting water, so she quickly turned the water off and dried off. Ally put on a fresh pair of clothes- just a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans. Nobody said any specific plans for the night, but then again not many relationships had formed too much. Ally had found friends in Caleb and Garrett, but everyone else was just an acquaintance. Then her mind turned to Ashanti with disgust. They started out fine, but after a few days they found a mutual dislike in each other. Ally shook her head, hoping she wouldn't have to deal with the sour woman so early. The movement from downstairs and grumbling of her stomach beckoned her to the kitchen where she saw a few people. The smell of bacon being fried was impossibly good, making her subconsciously walk a bit faster. "Good morning you guys," she greeted cheerfully. She opened the fridge to grab a cool water bottle. A while back she read a study saying a cool bottle of water in the morning could wake you up much better than coffee. She wasn't much of a coffee drinker, so it was an easy transition. "You guys sleep well?" Everything seemed quiet and she didn't really talk to Evelyn and Christine much. Building at least a tiny relationship earlier in the summer would be good. Garrett then offered the eggs and bacon to the house. "Oh shoot, really? Thanks!" Ally told Garrett and grabbed a bit, mindful to leave plenty for everyone else. If anyone else made it, she probably wouldn't have taken anything out of feeling guilt afterwards. She sat at the table and took a bite of the food. For being a simple breakfast of eggs and bacon, it was pretty dang good. "Thanks, Garrett, this is really good."
