Daixanos would never run away unless the others did, because he is more used to tactical withdrawals and ambushes rather than full on retreat. However, he'd pretty much go with the majority as well. He is kind of prideful, but also not stupid and would at least advise that if they want to live, they'd either need to entrench in the Inn or GTFO.

I suggest that we save Daelin, at the very least. It should not be a problem given all of us go for that and that only. Leaving the dude behind's just poor sport.

The current situation means Daelin will be saved. Dzuungits will live and lead his troops in overrunning Nightgate Inn. Most Braves will fight to the end in order for us to get Daelin out.

You have today to change your decision. Note that killing Dzuungits will force the Kamals to retreat.

Dice to come later. Here's the preliminary actions:

  • Keegan: Retreat
  • Dax: Retreat
  • Marcel: Help Daelin
  • Sevine: Help Daelin
  • Rhasha: Help Daelin
  • Bharzak: Help Daelin after getting away from Dzuungits
  • Jorwen: Distract Dzuungits so Bharzak can escape

@POOHEAD189, it's better for Dax to focus on retreating and set up a safe rally point, since he's exhausted and towing a prisoner. He can get an arrow or two to distract Dzuungits, but shouldn't stick around for kill shots.

For guys helping Daelin, there's four tasks, one for each of you.

  • Stabilize Daelin and evacuate him
  • Fight off the Kamal ranger
  • Fight off a mace wielding Kamal
  • Fight off a riderless Kamal bear


The bear resembles tardigrades, in polar bear size. It has metal plating covering their vitals. Its attacks can be mauling from any one of its eight clawed paws, ramming with its armored head and whipping with sensory whiskers on its body. It'll shoot water jets from its suction cup mouth when desperate.

I will roll the dice when you guys chose your task. You can only kill your target if the roll is very high.

As Rhasha was the worst injured of the PCs and is still recovering, he'll just try and get Daelin to safety without fighting. He can also provide more healing with his restoration magic.

I think in that case, Bharzak had better try and fight off the bear.

Also, it's probably worth mentioning I'm spending the week with my cousins, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to spend on a post during this time. I will try and be around if it's imperative though.
