That's not how that works. Pends aren't a different zone anymore, they're now a part of the regular S/T zones. You can choose to use them either as pendulum scales or regular S/T, but if you choose the latter you can't pendulum anymore.

Yugioh has evolved so far now, and taken odd turns along the way. Once the new anime comes out, I may just stick to watching the anime.

Ah, who am I kidding, I should give the new rules a try once they come out at least once.

Uh. Well, I personally don't like the new rules (though I'll wait a bit longer to reserve final judgement) so I'd be inclined to keep this Old School. However, if people wanted me to, I could definitely BS something in-universe where everyone now plays with the new rules.

For now, though, let's wait and see.

I think we'll have to wait for rulings on this. My guess is that they're able to be summoned into the main zones.

Hope so. I'm building Abyss Actors IRL. It'll be the only deck other then infernoids that won't take a hit if that's the case.

Pendulum Monsters in the Extra Deck don't count as "Extra Deck Monsters." So yeah, they would go into the Main Monster Zone.

But man, this is some weird stuff.

I would suggest giving the new rules some testing time, to see the general consensus and if it's good or not. And if it's not total garbage (unlikely), then we can implement it in second year or something.
