[@Turboshitter] Yeah, in the first two games their existence was basically a footnote to show you "Hey, helping those guys was totally worth it." Then they started to actually matter.

Also the Brotherhood of Steel did some stuff too but they were the west coast brotherhood so they don't have giant 'MURICA robots and they were also kinda dicks.
