Once in the Operations/Meeting Room, Tocsax would look at Drake, taking the tela-spider and other items proferred to him. He would then say: "Your battles are my battles now, ever since we shared your pain - I will help you." He would then frown. "But Taka is out of commission; the circumstances are unclear, but it appears that an incident occured during his own training; Moogles found him just outside the holodeck in a state of catatonia; recordings show a certain old 'friend' of ours intruding into the training room and giving him one of his 'tests' of the right to exist." Tocsax didn't have the full details of Hakim the Wise's battle with False Hakim, but was furious that the group's erthswhile ally would interfere at such a tense time. However, we have five days before fighting Walpurgisnacht, and the trip to the next world will take three days more, meaning that your plan could still work...if Ryteb gets up at the same time - he decided to fall into his own coma after the last fight with the Surge Guardians," Tocsax sighed, noting v2 was still there but slightly more listless than usual. Drake's strategy, it seemed, might fall apart even before it was given a try. Tocsax then sighed. "But this does not change anything. I will fight beside you, and if need be, I'll pull in as many allies as I could; I'll even call that Vizier," he meant Hakim the Wise, "and that Old Man from the Mysterious Tower," he meant Alexios Apokaukos. "I'll even ask the Emperor and Empress themselves if I have to." Because you're my friend, and you have proven yourself to be loyal. He would then look at everyone else, and then say: "Now, to discuss the fight against Walpurgisnacht in five days," he would then activate a hologram. "Our intelligence network has already provided information on Homura's traps for the Uber-witch..." Five Days Later Mmitakihara Town was grey with gloom as the storm warning sounded through the news, with the entire populace of the area being called to take refuge in the sturdy storm shelters to weather the 'hurricane' heading towards them. However, the gloom and harsh weather was not the result of any natural phenomenon, but the greatest of all Witches, Walpurgisnacht, which was approaching the docks of Mitakihara. Normally, Madoka, Sayaka, and Kyosuke's family and friends would be concerned with the disappearance of the three kids, but Damianos Sardis, the Wizard who always accompanied the Emperor, had used a spell to make them think everything was all right and the three kids were only going for a field trip. Damianos had also told Tocsax this, that he should let Taka and Ryteb rest some more, and let them out only when they woke up. Instead, Tocsax, Seth, Mai, Drake, v2, James, Natasha, Akemi Homura, and another Magical Girl, Kyoko Sakura (a grade-a jerk whose sympatethic backstory was unknown to all but Tocsax) would be the ones to face Walpurgisnacht, forcing modifications in the original plan. As a swirling mist billowed out, an eerie laughter can be heard echoing across the length and breadth of the sky, and Walpurgisnacht, a gigantic Witch who looked like an upside down woman in a blue, lace-trimmed ballgown, topped by a set of gears that rotated as the Witch floated closer and closer, causing pieces of buildings to float upward, torn from their foundations, while 'familiars' who looked like moving dark outlines of young girls began appearing out of thin air. The winds began to increase to gale-force levels, and Tocsax would then say to Seth, assuming he was there: "Seth, you, I, and Homura will begin the first attack. I'm going to summon a legion of Samurai Nobodies as a distraction, as well as to soak up Walpurgisnacht's own familiars. They will also provide cover for whatever Snipers you may need." As he said these, the aforementioned 'Lesser Nobodies' were already appearing all across the docks, rushing the enemy. Homura, meanwhile, vanished for a split-second - before explosions began to ring out; a shower of RPG rounds had appeared out of nowhere, exploding in a wide spread all across the exterior. Tocsax, meanwhile, not content with the Samurai Nobodies' attack, conjured up an Ultima Cannon, launching a sparking ball of pure magical energy at the enemy's head, the resulting explosion was a glow of energy that would engulf said head...but ultimately do nothing. Homura had reappeared, setting off a line of mortars at such speed that Kyoko, who was with Mac and Cheese, would say: "Walpurgisnacht can take even that?!" the answer was, of course, yes.
