Regarding post length, I'd say I'm flexible with it as long as it's not a one-liner without any proper context for the next person to respond to. (Not everyone is Hemingway, yeah.) I'm still trying out different styles and ways to see which one works best for me or for the specific genres I'm writing for, but the general gist is: as much as I'm capable of vomiting out paragraphs after paragraphs of purple prose, personally I'd want to keep that as minimal as possible (or none at all). This is a [i]writing and storytelling[/i] forum, not a thesis forum. Especially in an action scene, get to the point to keep the plot moving. Nobody cares for pages worth of internal monologue that none of the other characters can see or react to. Like, it's an [i]action[/i] scene, not some self-absorbed flashback shenanigans.
