Achieng let out a mild sigh, wishing she'd spoken up sooner. She'd been so puzzled by the 'doctor' and his overeager display that she could not find the words to interrupt. That poor boy must be mortified. Anyone would, with that kind of strange treatment. She would have to find him later and apologize. With the child run off and the doctor left alone, Achi politely maneuvered her tank around the crowd. "Pardon me, I have to get inside before I start drying out in this air." When she passed the strange doctor, she muttered to him in a low voice. "That was very rude, you know." Not the best, but it would do. Once she was on the ship properly, she held back her urge to explore it, and went right to her own designated room. There was a large tank already full with water, and she checked the acidity and temperature balance before lining her tank up with the entrance. Once she was in position, a valve opened and pulled her through into the blissfully cool water. "Ahhhh, finally." She swam around her new room, checking every corner of the large tank. Someone on the council had a passing familiarity with her species, it seemed; she'd been left a few decorations, small statues and cloths that made her feel rather homey. "Very nice." Once she was done settling in, she decided to test the communications system. The Captain would be the first call. "Hello Captain Raymond. Whenever we are fully aloft and traveling, I would like to schedule primary visits for each of the crewmembers. You're included. I'm sure they will be reluctant, so I would hope that perhaps you would like to go first? Show the crew I'm no one to fear, hm?" She'd had poor reactions to her sessions before. People with weapons and power were never truly used to having to speak for what they had done.
