Um... sort of?

I mean, we did one RP that lasted a year, the war was effectively over with peace-treaties signed and reconstruction efforts underway in the epilouge of the thread (a surprisingly happy ending, really). It was deemed just barely epic and noteworthy enough to get its own wiki-page [i]afterwards[/i].

But then that story got dug up and continued.

Techincally, that RP won't be dead until every character involved, and every character they've interacted with are dead. Or all the players involved decide to give-up roleplaying it.

Naturally, any of the still-active surviving original characters are several shades of crazy, as they'd have been RPed through a real-life decade of nuclear-conflict, brush-wars, and BS-espionoge.
(So it pretty much became a zombie-franchise like Metal Gear)
