Keeping in mind scale, that tiny distance from Vetros' icon is still hundreds of miles so it's not too dire. But there are settlements all up and down the Mahd so it's probably endganering some little village.

Ah, if the djinn are dealing with that, then not so urgent. Goliath can do things elsewhere then, assuming the djinn are making good progress (which is likely for them).
