Despite not being the most intimidating person around, Justin still has the look of a warrior in his eyes. Being raised in such a family tends to do that for you. He stands a little taller than what you'd expect an Asian male to stand at almost five-ten. He would be shorter, but his maternal family is tall (Like freakishly, his late grandmother was six-two). That makes Justin stand out compared to other asian males. Though, he doesn't exactly have a super high body mass, at least compared to westerners. He carries himself with an assload of confidence. Keeping his hands in his pockets as he takes large steps. Usually being the loud, life of the party. Though, he doesn't speak with an Asian accent, since he's essentially American by all definitions except ethnicity. Only accent he has is a "big-city" accent riff with slang, and attitude. You can say that Justin is very energetic, however. Justin is pretty thin, thanks to a lightning fast metabolism, and the fact that he does a bit of work. His mother didn't want a lazy slob of a son that sits around playing videogames, so she made sure that Justin went outside. Justin does martial arts, but he did more skating than anything. He has a bit of a muscle-layer developing because he's been working on getting rather buff. His legs are very strong from running, but his arms are getting there. He's also been working on some abs.
Items:
■ A Skateboard. ■ Several packs of cigarettes. ■ An iPod. ■ His cellphone. ■ A Switchblade.
Personality:
In terms of personality, Justin is often seen as the splitting image of his mother (Observed by close and personal friends). Strong, confident, good natured, snarky, and above all else passionate. Justin is very kind, and energetic, usually having a very confident smile on his face at all times (It really unnerves people!). Justin's intelligence is often brought under question because he's, at times, very short sighted, and doesn't think things through. The problem roots in the fact that actions come better to Justin than thought, so he has a habit of jumping the gun. The other problem is that Justin is blunt about his feelings, and generally acts on them, even if they are bad ideas. So that goes without saying. However, Justin at times displays surprising moments of intelligence, and situational awareness like no other. So he's far from dumb. He's very philosophical due to many deep conversations with his grandmother, and has managed to incorporate her experience and line of thought into his own. Though, even though he is open about his emotions, one thing troubles him; his attraction to males. You see, Justin is a closeted homosexual because he fears what his family would think of him.
Short History:
It's a long story I'll try to summarize: Justin's mother, Meifeng Zhao, moved to America from China because of her mother's dissatisfaction with China. They spent quite a while in America (Where she had many adventures of her own) before Meifeng met another Chinese immigrant that she eventually fell in love with and married. Meifeng soon got pregnant, and gave birth to twins; Justin and Katie Liao. Justin was rather energetic, and a very active young man. His mother decided to take advantage of that, and sign him up for Muai Thai lessons much like she took when she was younger. This helped Justin build confidence at a young age, and definitely helped him build social skills to this day. A friend of his helped him get into the skater scene. But, he hung out with the less than ideal crowd that lead him to be making some rather, say, idiotic decisions. Getting into fights, smoking, and vandalism. His mother was getting pissed off about it, but the last straw came when Justin talked back to his grandmother. Which made her go to desperate measures: She sent him to Camp Wachata. And Justin had to be dragged there kicking and screaming.
