[@The Kid Lantern] Could work. She could be a distant relative. She won't know her real parents or any relatives so, why not ? She retained her human form ( opposite to Nightcrawler ) but gained his powers ( well...Nightcrawler only had the power to teleport himself without any dizziness/headaches etc. so she gained the power to teleport objects or other people but also gained the dizziness etc )

How does that sound ?
