Well I mean most Newborns wouldn't really disobey Homeworld right after being born unless Rebellion gems show up. They were made and nurtured for Homeworld, so it seems natural they would go with them. But I don't know much about their conceptions.

For example, Eisenkiesel is a Rebellion gem that just emerged despite having fought in the war.
