Edward Carter

Edward watched as the ground slowly came closer to the ground, before it popped just above it. He expected this, and coolly landed standing up, with his hands in his coat pockets. He stretched his legs a little once he was on the ground; the bubble was a bit cramped for him and he wasn't exactly a small guy. He favored the two girls with a small smile. "Thank's for that," he said to Coralia, nodding his head. He honestly hadn't expected her to release him so quickly. Then again, it probably had to do with Hinako pardoning him. Speaking of the fox-girl . . . Edward subtly looked at the girls tails. Despite her outraged and flustered demeanor (which in turn was in spite of her attempts to remain dignified), her tails told a different story; apparently completely unaware of how they betrayed her, Hinako's tails were swishing about happily, akin to how a dogs' would whenever they were happy. It was cute, all the more so when placed in contrast with Hinako's failed attempt at keeping up her regal and dignified persona, and suddenly Edward wasn't sure at all sure whether he was truly sorry for having touched her tails. Heck, Coralia for all that she had gotten righteous with him, was looking sorely tempted to do the same thing; he wasn't sure if Hinako noticed, but Coralia was hardly being subtle about her thoughts. Edward touched her tails jokingly, having no actual attraction to them before hand, and even then only with her invitation - even if it was only in jest; Coralia, by comparison, was already inching towards them before abruptly stopping herself. It was a testament to the cuteness attack power of Hinoka's tails that even someone as righteous as Coralia was so badly tempted to touch them. Yes, that settled it. He crossed his arms and nodded in confirmation, making it look as though he were agreeing with Hinoka and Coralia. Instead, the next words that came stoically out of his mouth were: "Yep, definitely, absolutely, unbearably, heart-achingly, unbelievably cute." With that being said, Edward recalled that he still had things to do, and the day wasn't getting any younger. Feeling as though he'd overstayed his welcome, he nodded to the two girls, and thanking Coralia with a short bow, gave a quick goodbye, and walked towards his room. He was smiling wide on his way back. He had an idea of what Hinako's reaction would be - the girl seemed quite weak to honest praise. Same for Lily. Most people who were used to lower life forms sucking up to them were, he thought, going from experience. A shame though, since, if anything, those girls more than deserved it.
[@demonspade64] [@ADamnFiddle]
