Anna had been working on positioning a cannon on the aft of the ship for several minutes now. She couldn't managed to get it tied down as the ship swayed from side to side, causing the cannon to do the same. "Damn it, I can't get this damn thing to stay. If they were closer I would just blow their brains out with some well placed bullets but alas they are to far." She sighed. "I will just have to work with what I have." After focusing for a short period of time she managed to get a general pattern in the ships movements, and calculated the perfect time to light the fuse. She did so and eventually the sound of returned cannon fire sounded over the deck of the Dawn Breaker. Unfortunately she had missed. "Ugh, guns are so much easier than cannons!" She yelled in a frustrating manner. She had never had to man the cannons before after all, previously it had just been her on the ship. She couldn't do anything but navigate the ship across the ocean to avoid attack. "Give me a couple more shots and I will be dead on every time." She tried once again to get the cannon tied down and managed to get it well enough that she could aim the thing without needing to worry about which way the ship was going to lurch next. "Alright, now we are in the game, keep her as steady as possible." She yelled to Hunter as she loaded the cannon and prepared to fire another shot. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Meanwhile, on the center Marine ship, Alphie stood beside the captain as he shouted out orders, observing the crew. His face as emotionless as ever. He glanced at Nina when she suggested the captain take shelter. He said nothing, keeping his thoughts to himself. 'This girl is crazy if she thinks the captain will do that.' He glanced over at Raphael, to make sure his assumption was correct. Alphie had great respect for the man he stood beside he doubted the captain would hide in his quarters and hand the reins over the himself. He did however think pursuit was a dangerous and slightly stupid idea. "With all due respect sir, I think pursing farther is a reckless choice, if the ship doesn't sink in the waters of Scylla Isle it will no doubt be badly damaged, if not beached on the isle itself. We should take a safer route around and dispatch a group to search the isle when the waters are calmer." Alpha voiced his opinion, though wasn't entirely sure how Raphael would respond to it, after all, he hadn't served under the captain long and nothing like this had come up since.
