That was when Donny noticed the armored knight slowly pushing himself up off the ground. The arrow the kid back by the limousine had fired had hit the visor squarely, but the head was a touch too large to fit through - it had gouged the visor's edges and caught. Sticking out as it was, the arrow had probably penetrated the knight's left eye, but it had not been a killing shot.

"Something like this." He answered Donny's rhetorical question with grim invocation, raising a second large, cylindrical bolt in his right hand, just like the one his predecessor had fired at the limousine - clearly preparing to ram the projectile into the ground with his remaining strength.

"Don't!" The crippled thug cried out, his face contorting in terror as he immediately turned on his back and tried to crawl away.
