They were far-fetched, and had no specific nationality of their own, but mostly consisted of American Extremists due to the income of volunteers. Wearing ballistic masks of pure white, they went on to gaining the nickname, The White Masks. Specialising in extremism and over-the-top assaults, they began to process huge chains of biological-chemical weaponry. They were unforgettably proven as a capable force during the Bartlett University Siege, where masked and armed individuals struck heavy gas chemicals against innocent civilians and nearby law enforcement personnel. At that same period of time, five operators, not yet identified nor confirmed by Six to the rest of the staff in Rainbow, were deployed into the gas-ridden environment to end the threats, succeeding in their mission. Whilst claiming the victory, the terrorists clearly had won by example, killing far more than Rainbow could ever find during that siege. It was a dark day for not only America and Rainbow, but the World. Six knew how bad the cost was, and so set out to enlist the best Operators she could find in order to restock themselves as a formidable adversary against the White Mask threat. Members of the toughened GIGN of France, the advanced GSG 9 of Germany, the skilled FBI CT-Unit of America, the unrelenting Spetsnaz of Russia and the ultimate SAS of Great Britain all combined together as the first 20 unique initiates to Rainbow, all known for their skills in individual equipment and tactics. Amongst these were some of the less well-known, but equally as talented Rainbow personnel, training within the ranks without being recruited from other major CT units. They fought hard, and heavily, against the threat of the White Masks, travelling world-wide to bring an end to their age of tyranny and atrocities. But they weren't enough, and when one cell was wiped out, another seemed to appear of out thin air. More special operations personnel were recruited from more wide-spread countries, Spain, Brazil, Japan etc., as they pushed harder against their foes. There was a period where they were massively winning, beating back an almost impossible-to-defeat organisation. But then...the Bellagio incident occurred. Returning to a state where the shadows of long-lost Rainbow operators had fought bravely, Bellagio Hotel within Las Vegas was invaded, heavily. This time, however, there wasn't any gas used. Hundreds of people were killed, many more caught in the crossfire outside of the hotel. Explosions and make-shift firebombs from all around were set off as a distraction to buy the White Masks more time to liberate the hotel and claim it as their own fort. It only took an hour for Rainbow to eventually arrive, and this time they had more operators than they should've brought. A vast majority of their specialised operators were deployed near the Hotel, moving in to recapture and execute any terrorists within the area of operations, knowing it was going to be more than any average firefight. They had no intel on who was in the building, if any hostages were being held or how many they were up against, and what is known as Rainbow's darkest hour in the most recent era occurred. Sparing as many of the details as possible, the White Masks had deployed a vast number of highly trained terrorist personnel, all with individual tactics greater than the standard rookie. Alongside those wishing to commit martyrdom with suicidal vests, they ambushed many of the team, cornering them into short, but bloody engagements. It went from hallway to hallway, corridor to corridor, floor to floor, room to room. Even cases of close-range fighting occurred, testing the strength of any operators who dared to go close enough. Operators on both sides lost numbers, and the once renown Operator count started to decrease rapidly. The White Masks were yet to give up, playing their final card in releasing a new chemical weapon. Similar to the chemical gasses they produced months ago, canister and packages of white phosphorus were used within the building, setting alight most of the hotel, killing almost everyone inside. Both the White Masks and Rainbow lost more than they could handle. After the deployment of incendiary explosives, the remaining White Masks withdrew from the area, many hunted down and killed by other law enforcement figures. Very few Rainbow Operators survived the incident, and Rainbow was left crippled, almost defeated by what they had gone through. Once again, Rainbow had claimed a victory, but with a major cost. Now down to little to no surviving members, Six temporarily reliefed herself of Active Command, full of shame and dishonour, and acted as Team Director, placing one of the few survivors of the incident, and oldest active member of Rainbow, Michael 'Thatcher' Baker, as the Operations Director. With this, came a new era for Rainbow. New Operators from worldwide had to be selected, with communication skills, combat efficiency, adaptability, usefulness and cooperation being key to both Six's and Thatcher's satisfaction, meaning they will be prepared to test those who they personally choose. Once again, Team Rainbow is about to fluster with new individuals preparing to undertake highly extensive combat scenarios, before they will be deployed as a first-response assault force against the White Masks. Because no matter how strong they are, there's a way to cripple them beyond their own repair...
These are the statuses of all the Operators who originally had a place in Team Rainbow.
SAS - Mike 'Thatcher' Baker - Alive, new Operations Director of Team Rainbow - Seamus 'Sledge' Cowden - K.I.A. - Mark 'Mute' Chandar - Alive, Currently Trainer of New Recruits - James 'Smoke' Porter - K.I.A.

Summary
Welcome to Rainbow Six - White Flame, a new chapter in the events of the 'Siege' timeline. Set roughly 2 years after the activation of Rainbow, and 2 months beyond the events of the tragedy at Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, United States of America. With more than half, nearly all of the Operators from the original activation of Siege left in coffins within military graveyards and memorials, many had questioned what there was left of Team Rainbow, and what Six was going to do now. Not much was heard from them, not that a lot was ever heard of them from anyone. The few government officials in ties with Team Rainbow panicked over their immense silence, before Ex-Operator 'Thatcher' emerged from the shadows to explain what he was to do next as Operations Director. With Six now handling the Headquarter Based-issues, he was to decide what happened on the field. And so, he brought requests to the Special Forces of the World, both in Military and Counter-Terrorist Organisations to give Rainbow the return it deserved. As for ourselves, we will take on the roles of the New Operators to fill up the ranks of Rainbow. However, we'll be facing a smaller issue. These individuals won't all be experienced through many years of service within the Special Operations Organisations, at least not as much as the previous Operators did. Though capable as they will be, armed with a new arsenal of equipment and gadgets to both handle offensive and defensive strategies, they cannot live up to the legends right of the bat, and need to prove their worth. They are planned to undertake a number of missions, worldwide of course, to try and combat the White-Mask threat in an Operation codenamed - "White Flame". With their influence spreading like a flood let out of a dam, it'll take a lot of skill, agility, vigilance and persistence to fight back against a winning foe. With training from the surviving operators, as well as connecting with one another, it's expected that these Operators will be amongst the names of Rainbow's History, taking out bomb-threats, eliminating cells, protecting VIPs, extracting hostages...And storming major compounds. All of these are planned for the future, but the way these Operators will connect and function will determine whether they are successful or not. When it comes to the danger for these characters, I'd hate to put too much life-threatening pressure on keeping these characters alive. Obviously it'd require caution in posting, but I'd like to at least give a decent amount of time for characters to develop a personality and distinguish themselves as an Operator. However, stupid actions obviously would lead to injuries, the very ridiculous leading towards death. That's something I'd like to avoid, but if it is necessary, I'd confront the individual first. Same with players leaving, I'd request temporary control over their character before they'd have to resign/face death within the storyline to help progress characters and the RP itself. It's a tricky Situation (See what I did there?) to decide through. Now I know there'll be some difficulty in regards to creating a character with a unique ability or gadget to use within combat. From experience, I know how tricky it'll become trying to make something completely original. That doesn't mean I'll not allow you to alter or upgrade a previous Operator's ability, and if the worst comes to the worst then I can accept a very similar/same ability as a desired individual. When it comes to the origination of the character, all of the highlighted Spec Op groups can be used from the game itself, though I can allow other Spec Op groups not currently in the game to be used if with permission.

Rules
1. Obviously, the rule here is to follow the rules of the GM (That's me if you hadn't realised) and the site itself. When the site talks about romance restrictions and all, those will be followed too, though if a certain level of gore and profanity is wished then be my guest. I'd probably expect a lot of profane language because that's generally how these individuals speak. Especially the SAS...They can't go a sentence without one. 2. When mentioning Romance, it's kind of a tricky (Currently the most said word) topic. I'm not gonna stop people from connecting their characters into a more-than-just-friends-and-trust-things-I-promise-we-are-just-co-workers state, go ahead. Just remember the site rules of course. This isn't a pornographic film, so keep it sensible. Anything else goes to the PM, lads and lasses. 3. Characters NEED to be posted in the OOC or sent to me directly by PM in order to be accepted into the Character section. No one is to post one there without informing me, because that's bloody annoying and an inconvenience if I deny it. 4. Keep in mind what I said about realism and character consequences. Don't take it too far with how insane your character can become. That also applies to the gadgets and/or abilities created and used. I know that some of the newer items are quite sci-fi based items, which can be alright and acceptable if not too overpowered, but try to keep it on a more 'Achievable and plausible' level. 5. Though it's not really much of a rule and more of an awareness statement, players that need to disappear for a while must try their best to inform me or anyone else with some level of command that they'll be gone. If it is going to hold someone up from progressing, then I will give them temporary permission to Take control of the character you are temporarily being absent from, with reason of course. They will not be allowed to take drastic action, and only do what is necessary to progress them forward. If you decide to leave, you and I will make a decision whether you want your character will die or go on living as an NPC. 6. My word is law. Sorry, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Gotta have some authority here or I might as well hand you all guns, turn you to face the other direction, and just tell you to run forward and shoot whatever is in front of you. But even that would show some level of authority. 7. I would prefer one character to be used at a time, but I will not be upset if anyone requests a second character. Third I might be a little sceptic about, but anything past that may not be allowed. The more operators that are created may close some creative ability generating for other players, if that even makes sense? 8. Please complete the character sheet with at least an involvement of key-information. You can decorate it, edit it, add stuff and merge stuff as much as you want, as long as the relevant information is passed onwards with a good quality. Posting lengths will also be required to be at least 8 sentences long, something I consider a paragraph or two. Going any longer than that is fully up to you, but just don't go too much lower. 9. I can evict you from the Roleplay if I'm not happy with you. Well, not physically, but I can tell you that your posts will no longer count nor contribute towards the story or progression itself, most likely ending in your characters fate being decided by me and the other players.
Relevant Information - Decorate, order and add as pleased, but please don't list it as a bullet point like this. I'd rather you didn't follow this order, as its a general list of stuff. In all honesty, this was posted later than I thought I could post it, so this is limited to being creative yourself. I can use my CS as a reference for others. - Name - Operator Alias - Group of Origination - Speciality - Attacker or Defender based Operator. Both can serve as both, but they just excel in either one. Defenders don't have to be the kind of defenders in the Siege Videogame, but can be relevant to defending the Operators in the story. - Age - Gender - Biography - Personality and Background - Relevant Military Service - Armament - Weapons - Appearance - Both on-duty attire and looks out of combat gear. Try to include an image, if not an extensive description. - Ability - Affiliates - Who are they connected to before and now? List here if you wish to be already acquainted with other characters during the start, and you may update this as the RP develops.
Characters in this RP will have been training in separate locations to join Team Rainbow, and these will be the first-in-a-few weeks where they'll finally combine as one major force for assessments before being deployed. These characters may not know a handful of others, but some they may be familiar with based upon previous operations, similar origination or childhood development. As for the character creating process, I wish you luck, and hope that this Roleplay brings out any interest in you, as well as enjoyment for those who are interested.
