Oh. Um...Maybe just write it off as a slightly different version of Dullahan? I mean, not all versions are exactly like that, right?

Or maybe since it was an imp, the effect was null and void?

I'm mostly throwing those out there cause the head stealing bit was pretty integral to the story.
