[@LetMeDoStuff] My name is Harold Fischer, but most of the guys know me as Kreig. I used to-still do to an extent, work with the GSG9. Elite German counter-terrorists. I served with most of the old guys as a matter of fact, people like me and Connor were just known as the ‘recruits,’ we didn’t have fancy gadgets or special callsigns. I was born in ’89. Joined the Hamburg police force as soon as I could, actually was a police cop for a little while. It must have been what, ’14 that I was transferred to Team Rainbow? Right when they were being set up. I was there in case they needed backup. I found my niche in what was known at the time as ‘rushing.’ I would wear little, just a kevlar vest, a few flashbangs and a grenade, and my job was to get right in their face, then blow them flat on their asses with a shotgun. I was good at my job, but I didn’t feel comfortable. I realised why on the day that the rainbow shattered. As my friends, Dominic, Ryad, Lin, Jack… As they died I stood there, unable to do anything. We even lost Gustave and Tania. I thought that bitch could never die, and then I watched her burn to death. I grabbed Elias’ shield, and… Heh, I was so angry. Ryad had his shotgun, the little one with him, and I picked that up too. Covered the rest as we buggered off along with Gilles. Took a bullet in the foot for my troubles, but I like to think that we saved some of them. Gilles, Mark, Timur, Monica… Even Alexandr… All of us changed. Too much. We’re not the same. Gilles used to be the best of us and now he’s bitter. I think Baker’s the only one who managed to keep his head. Me? I… I hated myself. All the rest had died and I had lived, and then fucking what? Elias had been working on a new shield design to be more stable when crouched. I worked with Gilles to bring his vision to life but with a twist. It’s a… Breaching shield would be the most accurate thing to call it. It’s big, so I don’t wear any armour to keep as fast as possible. I can smash through barricades, windows, even walls shudder and crumble if I hit them just right. Seamus would be proud. So that’s what I’ve been doing. Making sure everyone gets home safe. I’d rather take a bullet than any of them taking it, it’s my burden. My cross to bear. [hr] Harold stands at 5’9 and carries the ‘Ram’ Battering Shield and the same shotgun carried by Ryad Al-Hassar. He has dark brown hair kept short, and wears the traditional gear that GSG9 operatives were ‘famous’ for wearing before the incident, including a black balaclava and riot helmet, the visor of which has been removed. He wears a pair of black cargo trousers, military boots and a hoodie, with only a vest to carry his flashbang grenades along with him.
