Scanning the room and continuing forward, Blaque wondered how long they have been at this abducting children to have created this many toy soldiers. His shades picked up another reading of something further down. A weird signal, obviously someone or something different than the others he was witnessing. He walked down to notice a separate pod, walking up to it, seeing a young lady in cryo-stasis. The mission was to save and liberate all the children and these dangerous ones should not be left out as well. He wondered who this girl was and what she was capable of. He would take a risk, but he needed to finish this mission at any cost. Looking closely, the pod was connected to a computer, causing him to walk over and access her pod, activating the seal to open and thaw her out so to free her. As Blaque typed in the final commands, a loud hiss exhumed from the sides of the pod, filling the surrounding air with a thin white gas. Inside of the pod, the strange fluid that had submerged the teenage girl slowly drained out, causing a thin layer of water to condense on the outside of the glass. Finally, the glass cover lifted, the girl inside falling to the floor. The girl looked to be in her late teens, with pale white skin and purple streaks through her otherwise midnight hair. She was relatively short and lean in figure, dressed in nothing but a medical gown, leaving her arms and legs bare, revealing several long cuts and large bruises across her toned, thin muscles. Just as suddenly as she had dropped to the ground, the girl began coughing madly, a mixture of cryo-fluid and mucus being forced from her lungs, onto the smooth tile floor. Watching this girl, Blaque walked a little closer to get a good look at her and to try and explain who he was as his sword was still in hand while staring down the young lady. He needed to get her attention. "Hey, are you okay? My name is Bla--" In a sudden blur, the girl had swung her leg against Blaque's hand, kicking at his weapon before forcing herself up from the ground with her hands. A crazed yell escaped from her lips as she lunged at the man in shades, trying to wrap her arms around his waist as she pushed forward in an attempt to tackle him. The moment she kicked, he nearly lost his sword, but that was not something he was wishing to use on the young lady. With her yell and trying to get into guard, he saw that she was trying to tackle him as he went to try and hold her arms, getting in a wrestling stance. She was surprisingly agile and quick despite just getting out of a pod. "Hey, hey... Calm down... I'm not here to harm you," he said. "Bullshit!" the girl exclaimed, folding her arms in to bring her body closer to Blaque, ramming her forehead toward Blaque's skull. With a quick weave of his head and with the move of his free hand, Blaque's palm caught her forehead, pushing her back a little to gain a little distance. "I'm being honest. If I wanted to hurt you, I would've done it before you had time to react. In fact, I would've just killed you while you were still in stasis..." He mentioned. Blinking, the girl's angry expression turned to confusion, as in only a moment, Blaque had been able to stop her attack with his hand, which would've broken any other fool's wrist. Letting go of her grip on the man's arms, the girl took a small step backward as she stared into the pitch-black shades covering Blaque's eyes. A brief silence filled the air of the bunker, the two figures caught in a staring match, one waiting for the other to make a move. Finally, the girl winced in pain, lifting her hands to her temples. In only a few seconds, she had fallen to her knees, her brain pulsating wildly. Watching her for a moment and ready for the next round of attack just in case, Blaque stared on for a bit longer before she suddenly expressed her pain, falling to her knees, causing him to look on curiously for just a second before moving closer. "What's going on?" he asked her. She may be in pain, but he had no idea what the cause of it was. "Don't... Don't touch me!" she exclaimed as she fell back, scooting across the hard tile. She didn't get very far before her back was pressed up against the side of another pod, causing her to glance about frantically as she curled further into a ball, the pain visibly wearing the girl out. "No more needles, I-- I'll kill you!" though the threat would've come across as serious, the girl's shrunken form made a mockery of her words. Panic had begun to work its way into the girl's eyes, though she still scowled at Blaque with a deranged ferocity. Blaque did as told by not touching her but wondered just how messed up was she? What did Weber possibly do to her. "Do you need me to get you anything? Meds, or something else?" he asked her trying to be of some help. He could knock her out but he needed answers from her and getting violent was not a good way to get them. "Weber....what did Doctor Weber do to you?" he asked. Upon mentioning the doctor's name, the girl's eyes widened in terror, fixed upon the floor as she wrapped her arms around her legs. "So many needles..." she uttered, "It won't stop hurting..." she grimaced again, finally staring up at Blaque, the hint of tears forming in her eyes. "He better be dead," the girl finished, her voice cracking from the mix of pain, anger, and horror that filled her mind. Blaque analyzed her from her behavior and crouched down. "Those needles... the pain you felt... you won't feel that anymore. He'll never hurt you again, because I won't allow it. That's why I'm here. I'm here to take you and all the other children he hurt, out of here... I'm just asking you to trust me so that we can leave from this nightmare forever. My name is Blaque... What's your name?" The girl felt the tension in her muscles ease as Blaque spoke, the words he gave seemingly filled with genuine intentions. Breathing deeply, she adjusted her posture, sitting upright to appear more collected. Clearing her throat, she spoke with subtle confidence. "Jinx... My name's Jinx."
[@Wick][@RumikoOhara][@Necrophage][@FantasyChic][@pugbutter][@alexfangtalon]
