Can I create a character with the power of Life-Force Absorption? The main con of their power being a gradual decomposition of their body from the outside-in, unless they absorb the life-force of another living entity. As stated before, their body begins to decay and they are generally weaker as time progresses; this leads them to suffer under excruciating pain until they host an extension of life-force. If I am allowed, I would like the character to be undead to permit no bleeding or organ failure at the late stages of decaying (for added effect). When the user absorbs life-force, their body physically regenerates to an extent depending on the volume of life-force absorbed. Unfortunately, the regeneration process also inflicts extreme pain on the user as tissue and skin reforms around the body. When a source is targeted for absorption, they start to feel a gradually increasing fatigue. Once their fatigue is peaking, the source will begin to feel pain as their skin corrodes and bleeds out- exposing the flesh underneath. When the user's body is fully regenerated, the excessive life-force is stored to use as a faster means of regeneration or an extended resistance to burning. I am welcoming collaboration towards any aspects of my character which allows them to fit within the role-play; if anybody would like to offer any ideas, please do.
