[@KoL]I've never had the chance to play a full Ravenloft campaign, so I didn't actually know Van Richten existed when I first created Johan, which was for a still-ongoing 5e Curse of Strahd campaign. As far as characters knowing each other, I'm fine with anyone who thinks that's a possibility, and its likely that those who don't personally know him will have heard of him.
