I just hate how they brought them back and had them begin acting even more out of character than their grown up opposites. And if they REALLY needed to make a founding X-Man gay, I'm sorry but to me it would've been Beast. He's had virtually no relationships in the comics as far as I can remember, and it would've made much more sense than making one of the biggest playboys on the team secretly gay. I will say I like what I've seen of young Warren now with the cosmically altered wings since Black Vortex happened, but young Scott just seems as annoying as old Scott was twenty years ago. Making adult Cyclops a wild card was brilliant, he was just one of the casualties in making the Inhumans seem important. Mainstream Wolverine was killed to stiff Fox out of any new material to use in their films and replaced with Old Man Logan and X-23 as a female Wolverine to steer the films in different directions. For me, it's like they're TRYING to make the X-Men less appealing. A young Wolvie would've been great because it's never been done, closest thing was Ult. Wolverine and he was pretty well liked. Imagine Young Man Logan in a confrontation with a now older son, Daken! Or being mentored by Sabretooth. And when I saw this image, I knew Marvel's priorities were all to shit. It's the BSG Apollo/Starbuck fiasco all over again.... ~KL~
