Alex was out taking an early morning walk. almost three years that he had lived here. Before the monsters had come, he had always been enamored with all of the stories about them, and they came to the Surface. He instantly bought a house and moved in here, surprised to see that Frisk was here. On this particular morning, he was heading to Frisk's house to see how the human was doing.
Napstablook woke up in the house he shared with his two cousins, Maddie and Mettaton, feeling like he always did, depressed. He got up, or, floated up, and went outside to watch the sunrise, one of the few things that made him feel good on the Surface world, where he felt better than he did Underground.
