The rules I just stated apply in [i]all[/i] rounds (there's usually three rounds, unless an elimination round happens due to having tied majority votes), including this one. Primary purpose of this is to prevent the game from sitting in purgatory forever, and to make it a bit more intense. There's also some tactical elements the innocent and guilty parties alike can exploit due to these rules.
