[@Lord Szall][@Turboshitter] While you have a point in that the quality is generally better, the real problem is that for a collab, both people have to check up or be on extremly regularly, which some people do better then others. Yes, with the right dedication, you could move a collab forward quickly. In theory. In reality, shit does happen, and collabs end up delayed, or one ormthe other (sometimes both) fail to be active, dragging the whole thing through a mire of inerta. Maybe it you had the right pair, in the right timezones, with the right schedules, then MAYBE you could collab. But the chances of that happening with complete strangers is astronomically low. The problem is further compounded the more people you have. A four v four (Two mister and weapon pairs) is just barely on this side of feasible within any resonable timeframe. There is another problem, the weapon will, generaly, have a lot less to add, since it is the mister doing the fighting, they will have dialogue and little else. All that in mind, its a lot easier to just spend an hour or two every two days to a week on a post, and a one v one is an order of magnitude easier then larger groups. Tldr: Collabs suck. Take it from me, I'm in one that has a mere 3 people and yet had gone for months. Now, on that subject, I would like to provide some thoughts on PvP, in the interest of preventing the very common problems I see in every roleplay that attempts to include it.... In my next post! Duh duh duuuuhhhh! *dramatic music blares*
