"You lied! Yes! You lied! Beautiful~ Homeworld gems ARE here!"

I wasn't Lying, they didn’t come for me when I emerged. They didn’t come for me...

100 years and when it came down to it only a coincidence had resulted in her crossing paths with this Tugtupite, if she had chosen anywhere else to stay, or not decided to go to sleep she would have stayed abandoned, cast off, forgotten. Yet here they were, she could do what she was made for, after all this time she would belong. Suffice to say Howlite was conflicted, her innate loyalty for her creators and need to be part of something greater fighting against her disillusionment from and resentment for homeworld.

Clinohumite’s sisters fate was a prime example of why she did not have good impressions of homeworld, the fact they had presumably lost the war didn’t help either and apparently the gem was here for ‘recruiting’, which implied that there were other options. Of course those options had yet to appear and she was currently trapped down here with this gem, the presumably loyal super soldier Clinohumite and the confused Indocolite that had just appeared. She had no power for her kit and was outnumbered 4 -1 by Gems larger than her, taking them on did not seem like a good Idea. Despite her dithering there was only one option, to approach try and find out some more information, seeing as it was unlikely she was getting out of here on her own, and then to see what came of it. But first...

While the Indocoloite… While Marnie bombarded the Tugtupite with questions, Howlite casually approached one of the other giant mechanical spider that were roaming the area and then sneakily extended on of the wire like tendril of her hair to touch the bot. Within the next second she had run through and understood most of its systems and more importantly convinced the other drones linked to it that nothing was wrong. While presumably they would notice if it started acting weird, like for example running off with her riding it, they would probably not consider her briefly taking a cable out of the front mounted ring and attaching it to the powersupply of the spider bot hostile, particularly when the botts many limbs mostly hid her from their view. With it’s several thousand years of technical advancement over the devices she had made the bot hardly noticed she had leached off enough power to charge her equipment again.

She decoupled the wire and slid down her visor, the front briefly displaying a tumbling hourglass as it booted up before the 5 ‘eyes’ on the front appear, currently dim so as to not reveal her location. Her eyes safely hidden behind the protective screen she enabled infrared night vision, the top eye sending out light rays in a non visible spectrum, allowing her to see a high resolution, if monochrome, version of the cavern without also making her extremely visible to all the others present.

She then nonchalantly wandered over to the little group of Cymophane, Marnie, Tugtupite and Clinohumite, now much more confidant behind her protective screen.

...Who is that voice behind us?

Howlite, reporting for duty.

She announced, before sweeping her gaze towards the direction Cymophane was pointing in, switching to a visual spectrum for now, the beam of light shining out into the darkness, probably Illuminating Seraphinite, Sodalite and anyone else nearby as it hunted around the Kindergarten for the source of the sound.

Tugtupite winced at the nickname given to her by the young Indocoloite but let it slid given the gems age. Tugtupite used to have numerous nicknames back in day but had since dropped them after the gems in her care matured to a point of no longer feeling the need to use them. Truth be told Tugtupite missed the nicknames but she was held up to a higher standard now and felt nicknames had no place being used on as science officer.

"I'll answer all of your questions once we get to the ship little one, though your feet might be a need a bit of looking at once we get back."

Next came an additional two gems, only a minute or two between their arrivals, which were a Howlite and a Cymophane. The first one to arrive was the Cymophane with a troubling inquiry. Tugtupite listened for a moment before her eyes drooped in annoyance. Out of all those Rebellion Gems she was by far the last one that Tugtupite wanted to see down here.

"It is good to meet you as well Cymophane. As for that voice is that of a traitorous gem whom of which has spat on all gem tradition and her own kind to preserve some lesser beings who would destroy us if given the chance. A gem that would use her medicore intellect to try to warp your minds and convert you into a drone who's only master is that of chaos and mayhem. That 'gem' is Sodalite." Tug said, glaring in the voice's direction. Now the Howlite had shown up and introduced themselves in a very formal manner which pleased Tugtupite to no end. This attitude quickly diminished as the Howlite pointed a light in Sodalite's direction.

"You fool! Turn that light of yours off this instant! Do not garner her attention." Tugtupite whispered as loudly as she could in anger and frustration. She knew the gem didn't know any better but this didn't stop Tug from getting immensely angry.

Marnie whimpers slightly and rolled back over to continue crawling down the spider-bot leg. "What does the ship look like?" She asked loosing focus on her footing causing her to slip and fall once she was half way there to the bottom. Out of panic, Marnie waves her arms around causing a liquid mass to form around her body helping to cushion her fall. When she does land she lands with a splash and her gem automatically poofs causing her to loose form. A cloud of smoke laced with small water droplet's surround Marnie's gem before slowly disbanding showing what was left of her.
Marnie now just a gem begins to panic not knowing what to do. What just happened? Where am I? Why can't I see? Did I 'poof?' Am I okay? What do I do? Someone talk to me and explain, please! She tries to say but nothing comes out so it was only a thought being screamed. She frantically tries to move around to figure out where she is using sheer sense of feel. On the outside, the gem is rocking back and forth slowly but starts to pick up speed has she ran around and panicked more.

Chloe Clinohumite
Serves the beauty of Homeworld!

Chloe was a little... disappointed with what the Tugtupite had to say. It was a very nice and formal greeting, yes, but Clino was of a noble and highly-regarded heritage. She expected a little more enthusiasm to be in order for such an occasion as her prestigious birth, especially from one who studies gems. Nevertheless, it was no matter; the gem was here now, in the charge of Homeworld, prepared to serve it's cause with utmost loyalty. Indeed, it was an extremely exciting moment for the Clinohumite, her body almost shooting up from her knelled position. Swinging her hair gorgeously around her thin frame, Chloe looked around for one of her first official assignments; it is best to show devotion in actions instead of simply words, after all. The gem's piercing orange eyes gandered around the motley crew that had gathered around her. Howlite seemed busy in her own electronic endeavors, Indoclite simply fascinated, and Tugtupite almost endlessly occupied with the latter. Perhaps Chloe would go around the Kindergarten in search of any other stray gems. Her legs had transported her here so quickly, what would be a little more jogging? Plus, it would give her an excuse to flex both her athletic abilities and pride in front of the beautiful~ higher-up.

Yet, before the stretching Clinohumite could start her venture, a familiar voice engulfed her attention.
"... but I have a rather urgent question. Who is that voice behind us?"

then another,
"As for that voice is that of a traitorous gem whom of which has spat on all gem tradition and her own kind to preserve some lesser beings who would destroy us if given the chance. A gem that would use her medicore intellect to try to warp your minds and convert you into a drone who's only master is that of chaos and mayhem. That 'gem' is Sodalite."

Clinohumites hands clenched into rageful fists at the mention of the disgusting "Rebellion". Her whole kind's only and sole purpose was to snuff out those who would defy divine diamond rule, and here they were, still battling for control of this meager planet. Chloe was somewhat relieved at this prospect, though; it would mean her abilities would be of maximum use. But... did this mean her kind's ancient work ultimately failed? The Clinohumite almost gagged at this notion; how could she ever doubt her great diamond's flawless design like that!? Her and her kind's ability to fight were beyond perfect. If only she could prove this theory now against the Sodalite, but her orders were clear; stay back and stay quiet. Anticipation to fight almost boiled out of Clino, regardless, her foot tapping anxiously in the silence. Through this frustration, Chloe could not help but peer around the rocky corner to see the faces of these grievous traitors.

There, the Clinohumite saw the faces of her dire enemies for the first time. They were all a tumbled gang of enthusiastic, worried, and curious faces with bodies that no longer walked with the authority of Homeworld. Ah, what a sickly lot they were; their shame-less games bringing them to prance around on one of the most hollowed of Homeworld creations! Chloe could not bear to stare directly at the Rebel crew before her, but instead focused on the glowing of something... green. The glow was helplessly stuck in a crevice, a poor and small body that resembled a unknowing Newborn. A Newborn! A defense-less Newborn that was now behind the merciless battle-lines of the enemy, oh how cruel was fate! The warrior gem had to act quickly and silently; she would love anything to get into a fight with one of those filthy Rebels, but Tugtupite's word was law. Chloe, quick to action, shoved the poor Howlite's goggles downwards in order to shadow her operations. Drilling through the soft silt of the Kindergarten's ground, Chloe tunneled right under the unsuspecting feet of the terrible traitors and into the crevice that the poor Seraphinite was located. The orange gem picked the green being up quickly, tracing her perfectly cut tunnels back to where Tugtupite and the rest of the now-Homeworld gems stood. There was no time to ask if she was ok. The spontaneous rescue mission took only ten seconds for the beautifully~ quick Clinohumite to enact. A mission of complete success, for sure. Kneeling down once again in front of her superior, Chloe placed the dazed Seraphinite down and spoke in whispers, "I present this newborn Seraphinite gem to you, honorable Tugtupite, to thank you for my induction into Homeworld services." The Clinohumite gem only ever looked up to adjust her hair and wink at the beautiful~ gem authority above her.

Howlite

Clinohumite shoved her head down before she could obey the angry Tugtupite.

Alright alright. Switching it off.” she muttered.

She switched back to night vision, seeing as nobody had noticed her using it before and continued to look over at the Sodalite in the distance as Clinohumite vanished beneath the dirt. So this was one of the Crystal gems that had presumably ousted most of Homeworld from earth for thousands of years and who the vitriol spitting Tugtupite was so worried about. Considering Sodalites where linguists and negotiators she was not sure what all the fuss was about, how weak was Homeworld now that this was what they were frightened of. She had drones and a (admittedly failed) super soldier, how was someone whose purpose was data acquisition and negotiation so concerning.

She appears to be alone, why don’t you just send the robots and the fabulous warrior to capture the linguist? She does not seem to be that much of a threat.

Perhaps the crystal gems had sent her her to perform diplomacy or had simply not expected Homeworld to send forces to collect them. Either way she was interested in what the gem had to say and so was attempting to force a confrontation rather than having to sneak away with the Tugtupite before seeing what the other side might be like.

She searched further afield with the invisible rays of infrared light trying to see if she missed anyone else, briefly glimpsing a massive gem somewhere near one of the sides of the canyon. She was about to point this out when several things happened at once.

Firstly the Clinohumite arrived in a shower of dirt with a small and probably rather startled and confused Seraphinite. How the showy gem had managed to keep her immaculate appearance was beyond her, not exactly a useful skill but whoever had designed the gem had gone for flash over substance. Aesthetically she could not argue with the result but presumably such a focus had left gaps in other areas that had lead to their being discarded by Homeworld.

The second was Marnie being the first of the newborns to experience poofing as she fell from the robot. For a gem type that boosted agility as a skill this one had the athleticism of a drunk human, Howlite face-palmed as the Marnie’s gem lands in the muddy puddle her water mimicry power causes.

Returning her focus to the hulking gem that appeared to be a kind of quarts. Eisenkiesel the kindergarten helpfully supplied, notable among quartzes for their ability to summon a crystalline armor. Interestingly the Kindergarten's systems list her as one of the guards here, even right up until the end of the war, what was she still doing here. If her lip movements were any indication she was apparently muttering to herself as she walked, covered in dirt and soil as if she had just emerged. How curious, Howlite was not sure what to make of her. She kept her voice down like Clinohumite had and brought this to the attention of Tugtupite.

Tugtupite, there appears to be an red and yellow striped quarts down here as well

She pointed out into the darkness at the barely visible hulking gem.

I don’t think she is a crystal gem, no star shaped markings like on the other one

Aquamarine

Pounding echoes rang off the walls of her starlight grotto causing dark ebony eyes to snap open, the world slowly coming back into focus around her. The natural cerulean bio-luminescent glow that normally made up the room of the Temple was flooded red, the alarm once set up by Marry flashing their warning though the sound had been disabled by the rooms single occupant long ago as the testing of the system had not been the most pleasant. The gem raised from her laying position, gently wiping the wetness that had stained her cheeks without permission as dreams had haunted her. This was not a day to think of the past but a day to gaze on a better future. She softly pushed up to a standing position to answer her fellow Crystal Gem, the pattern on the door etching itself before swirling open just as she moved to stepped out. Aquamarine had waited for so long, caring continually for the Kindergarten, guarding not only the humans above but the younglings that were below in hopes that their lives could see the light of day or the moon of the night. It almost felt unreal, as if she still might be dreaming but the blue woman knew this to be real and her heart felt instant relief if not a gush of excitement on what they each might be like but she couldn't relax just yet. The smile she had held upon exiting her room dropping as she looked seriously to the way out of the Temple since the alarms out of the rooms would not be the Kindergarten but danger. Aquamarine wanted to go to them, she had always meant to be the first one to greet them but it seemed fate had other plans.

"Vert is probably out wandering and Sodalite should already be at the Kindergarten if I had to take a guess. Cavan...Marry...I will need you to go first to the Kindergarten while I handle things here in a timely manner. Marry, if you could so kindly leave a portal open for me, I would be much appreciative. The wrap pad does not drop in the best of locations to get where I wish to quickly get to after defending. We have already wasted enough time....I wish to see they are safe with my own eyes...but their protection is more important to me than what I wish....Please, protect them and care for the ones that wish to stay. Answer their questions if you can as I am sure they will have questions and I don't want them feeling tricked by not having all the answers they seek right away. Stay safe you two, a fight might be on our hands soon." Aquamarine stated before moving towards the Temple exit with swift grace, her hand instantly on her gemstone as she drew her weapon. The soft warm aura that she normally gave out becoming a fierce coldness as her eyes sharpened towards the Seekers drawing near. If she played this right, they would never see her and hopefully anyone on the other end would think it was some malfunction. Only one might know it was her and that gem was the last one she could wish to be near her sanctuary or the Newborns she had cared for. A slight pang stung at her heart, a glimpse of sadness and a tinge of anger flashing in her eyes before disappearing. Aqua pushed her feelings aside, her mind calculating on what was ahead for if HomeWorld was this close...not all the Newborns would stay and that hurt more than she could explain but it was their choice. She would never force them to be by her side. She would not make them be anything more than what they wished or wanted to be. They could be so much more then just what they were designed to be....Aquamarine herself was proof for that but they had to want to see that. It wasn't possible for every Gem.

Maeve

"That should be the last one."

A smile lit up her face as she handed the box over to the man inside the back of the truck.
"Is that really all we have? Huh...we really need to be a bit more pack rat-ish if this is all we have." He chuckled with his voice filled with mirth and merriment.

"Or maybe we should have rented a smaller truck." Maeve giggled as her father jumped out, locking up the back so none of their possessions would come tumbling out. It was strange to most to be moving in the middle of the day to no where in perticular but it didn't bother the pair. They had never been what others would call normal as her father knew more than most humans and Maeve...well as far as they knew, she was the only one like her. It was sad not being able to share that with anyone. At least she wasn't alone and she knew that her dad would always be there for her.

"Are you sure you want to come? You are all grown up now and you hardly need to hang around me..."

"Hey, you know you'd be bored without me. Besides, you've chose some pretty interesting places in the past and I want to see the next one." She smiled.

Alastair Burne gave a warm smile to his only daughter at her reply. He knew that she would need to spread her wings and leave him eventually but deep down relieved that she hadn't left him just yet. Sure, she usually had a place of her own when they moved but she always stayed close by. Maybe she was just as afraid of being alone as he was or maybe she feared what others would do if they found out what she really was. Maeve's mother sure had been afraid of that. Afraid of what any humans might do if they found she was not like the rest. Star had become one of his closest friends and when she had said she had to leave, he demanded to know why. Why did she have to go?

She had told him everything then.Trusting in him what she couldn't with any other. Star Sunstone...a Gem...an alien to this planet...a fighter against Earth...had trusted him a human with her life and begged he tell no one before letting her go. Alastair hadn't let her go though...he had joined her. They ran away together, his heart moved by her and it was probably in that moment...looking into those reddish brown eyes glistening with tears that he fell and hard.

He continued to teach her about the world she was stuck in and slowly showed how much he cared for her. Maeve was a proof of their love and proof on how much Star had changed over her time with him.

"Dad, hello?! Dad?" Maeve said, waving a hand before his face in attempts to bring him back to the real world. He blinked a couple of times, slightly startled as he was now looking into green eyes so much like his own only Maeve had a way to look at someone and seem as though she was looking straight into your soul with those expressive eyes that now showed worry. "I lost you there for awhile, you alright?"

"Yeah, just drifting through memories." He said with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

"You're missing her."

"Every day but I wouldn't change the outcome for the world and neither would she."

"I wish I had gotten to meet her, if only once."

"I know Sundrop. I know." Alastair replied petting her wild wavy red hair before putting a hand on her cheek, careful not uncover her make up covered freckles. "Shall we get going? I've got catacombs to look at and you have a city to explore."

"Crystalisis here we come!" Maeve grinned and then held out her hand. "Now fork it over."

"I think you should drive the truck."

"The truck is in your name, I'm not allowed to drive it. Hand over the keys Dad. You act like I am a horrible driver."

"I trust you...I just...please be careful...don't...you know how I feel about my van."

"I swear if I wasn't your daughter and that if I hadn't seen the many pictures of you and Mom...I would believe you were married to that hunk of junk."

"Don't say that about Belinda! Shhhhh, she didn't mean it...she loves you too..."

"I promise the old gal will get there in one piece." She sighed, rolling her eyes a bit at the grown man with his cheek to the side of the van and petting it lovingly.

"All the greats have a van." he exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah. You have told me many times. Now keys." Maeve said, a raised eyebrow as he pitifully handed over the keys like a child having its favorite toy taken away. She shook her head, hopping into Belinda as her father started the truck as well as started their new adventure. She had heard the City had strange happenings going on every once and awhile but nothing was told to what strange meant. Maeve had had hope in Gravity Falls when they spoke of weirdness and though strange as it was...she hadn't found what she was looking for which is why they hadn't stayed long enough to fully unpack since it was a move for her. She wanted to find more like her mother. She wanted to learn more about herself and only they would have the answers. Maeve hoped that her mother hadn't truly been the only one. That thought in mind, Maeve turned the key and drove forward to her new life in a new place.

So apparently that tripwire wasn't tripped by humans, but by newborns? Well this certainly was interesting! "C'mon Caven, lets go see our new exper... I mean, friends." Marry said after Aquamarine gave the two of them their orders. Vert was probably exploring or something, usually they weren't this late to a meeting otherwise. Marry wasn't too sure at how well she could hold Aqua's request though. Sure she could leave a portal open, but if she needed to fight, it might not stay open for too long!

Floating to the warp pad, Marry shot a portal on a nearby wall, then warped to the Kindergarten pad. The thing that had tripped Marry's alarm was deeper in the cavernous system, but at least Marry had a general idea of where everything was. Every new corridor she'd open the partner portal to the one back at the temple, keeping it out of sight of the next passage in case she ran into anything.

After awhile of gliding through tunnels, Marry came across something she wasn't expecting. A few active gem robots, and newborns fighting each other! "You might not have a portal to use there Aqua. Oh well.". Peeking out from the tunnel she was hiding in, Marry glided high in the open cavern, ready to possibly disable the reactivated robots if they got hostile. Speaking to the newborns below, she said, attempting to get the attention of everyone, and defuse the situation. "Newborns! Its been awhile! I'm Marry, and I'd like to welcome you to Earth! If you have any questions, just ask." Marry wondered where Sodalite was, but she should be nearby... somewhere.

Cavan

"Stay safe you two, a fight might be on our hands soon." Aquamarine's warning stayed in Cavan's mind, heavily affecting his thoughts. It had been years since Cavan had seen any real combat with a formidable opponent; The past five thousand years had consisted of weak, corrupted gem monsters ravaging through nature before being quickly subdued by the Rebellion Gems. While the other female Gems had gone to war with these creatures, using immense feats of strength and power to poof and bubble them, Cavan had always been the softest of all the fighters.

Violence and betrayal had experienced plenty of time in the lime-light of Cavan's life. Instead of brutally conquering these lost Gems, the Cavansite instead opted to gently sooth them into their gems with his voice. The soft, mesmerizing qualities of his songs were more than enough to put any weak-minded gem into their place, and corrupted Gems were far easier targets. Once they had been gently poofed, Cavan always bubbled them with the most extreme care before sending them on their way to the temple. One day, they would find a way to restore them to their former glory. Eventually.

"C'mon Caven, lets go see our new exper... I mean, friends." Marry corrected herself as she drifted gracefully over to the warp pad, placing a portal base on the wall. The Moldsvite waited patiently for Cavan to join her on the warp pad.

"Let's just hope to the Diamonds that they aren't all hard-headed warriors." Cavan didn't even notice his outdated, possibly traitorous, colloquialism. He had spent thousands of years in the service of the Diamonds, so his time standing apart from them was relatively short compared to the duration of his service. He joined Marry on the warp pad and activated the beam. The duo instantaneously appeared in the darkness of the Kindergarten, illuminated only by soft, red service lights.

He followed Marry through the tunnels, trusting her sense of the underground to lead them to where they needed to be. Finally, they emerged into an expansive cavern where a variety of Gems were engaging in all sorts of activity. Gems were poofing and reforming, questioning each other, exploding out of the earth, and challenging one another, however it all seemed to be focused around one particular gem.

"Newborns! Its been awhile! I'm Marry, and I'd like to welcome you to Earth! If you have any questions, just ask." Marry strode into the cavern with an air of grace that conveyed soft harmony.

Cavan followed behind her, however he immediately began picking up on some questionable emotions emanating from the group of Newborns. While a variety of emotions was certainly to be expected, some had qualities that unsettled him. The Clinohumite was by far the most dominant emotion-wise of the newborns. She was loud, proud, and heard by all around. She was eager and boisterous, and Cavan couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm.

Most of the other Newborns were mundane as far as emotions went, with varying degrees of confusion, wonder, fear, and uncertainty, as was to be expected from recent Emergers.

However, before Cavan could say anything else after Marry, a much older emotion washed over him. Contempt. It emanated from a more stable gem in the back of the group, standing near one of the active robots. Something about her unsettled Cavan, emanating an eerie sense of familiarity and harshness.

"Marry, Sodalite, stay on guard." Cavan cautiously approached the group, he fingers gently touching the surface of his gem, ready to whip out a bola at a second's notice.

Cavan stepped into the light and raised his voice, projecting it across the cavern to gain the attention of the entire group. "Hey, settle down! Newborns, my name is Cavan. It's wonderful to see you all emerging from the earth. Please, come forward; step into the light."

Bloodstone watched his monitors while his seekers wandered around. There were plenty of newborns wandering around, even a Howlite who had taken quite a liking to one of his seekers. That's alright though, all he'll get is blueprints for the drone, the location of the other drones, and the recent status of the Kindergarten. Nothing much to go off of. On the other hand, the two seekers that were scanning the temple area had picked up something interesting. A blue gem resting on the hand of the temple's statue. Could it be? Is that her? No... no, that one is too light and appears to have a masculine form. Before his thought process could end, the blue gem had disappeared and reappeared in the Kindergarten along with a gaudy green gem and what appeared to be... Sodalite.

Bloodstone couldn't believe what he was seeing. That Sodalite is one of Aquamarine's closest allies, and Aqua could only be so far away. The Commander designated the three gems that had grouped together as targets for his 4 Arachni drones and prepped 4 more for reinforcements, these scum-like gems would not contaminate the minds of the younglings. Bloodstone set the seekers into collect mode where they would gently nudge the newborns towards Tugtupite so he could lead them back to the ship. Blood himself grabbed two more seekers and a de-stabilizer before warping himself to the pad he had previously seen the light blue gem on. Bloodstone assumed they didn't have access to the technology that could lock a portal but he wasn't going to go in there without some foresight. He activated the drones and programmed them to find a path inside and then scan the area.

It wasn't long after the seekers had left that the waterfall opened up and a more royal blue gem walked out. Her gaze was clearly set on the two drones approaching the temple but whatever she had planned had already failed. "Aquamarine, Cut 8xj3s, lead medicinal force on Home-World, personal medic to the lead scientific officer also known as Commander Bloodstone, one of the original rebellion gems, substitute battlefield medic for Rose Quartz, fighting capability level: Amethyst, abilities: minor healing and ice warfare, weapon: Harpoon. Status: MIA" Bloodstone had laid out her entire informational index, saying it all without pause as he approached her. He had memorized every bit of it to the letter only now the last bit of it was false. Aquamarine was no longer absent from this world. The Commander stopped in front of her, a wicked grin on his face. "Good to see you again, old friend."

So much was happening at once. Tugtupite, in all her intelectual glory, could barely keep up with the events that were unfolding around her. First there was the small 'Marine' as she had begun to call herself getting poofed by what seemed like a small drop, likely due to her apparent defect, then there was the Clinohumite being ever helpful in not only getting rid of the light from the Howlite but also proceeding to bring a Seraphinite to the group though it was yet to be seen of this gem would join their cause. Further more the Howlite brought what Tug assumed to be either a Jasper or perhaps an Eisenkiesel to her attention though this was no newborn according to the Howlite which Tugtupite was inclined to agree with. The final event to happen had the most profound effect on Tugtupite which was the sound of two more rebellion gems; that so called 'scientist' Moldsvite and him. Cavan was here which really put Tugtupite's mood in a bad place. She wasn't angry the gem was here but she wasn't particularly happy about it either. She had very mixed feelings about the gem at the moment but she did what she had done for all of her time on Earth and suppressed these emotions so as though to not interfere with her work, with her job.

Now that Tugtupite had a minute to reflect she jumped into action. Before doing anything else Tug leapt down to the ground below and scooped up the little Marine's gem.

"Don't worry Marine. Your going to be all right. Just focus on regaining your form. Focus on your body then your head then your limbs and your subconscious will fill in the rest." Tugtupite said in a soothing voice so as to not further frighten the small gem. Following this Tugtupite jumped back to her perch on the Spider-bot near the other newborns.

"Good work Howlite and Clinohumite. Thinking on your feet is an invaluable asset to Homeworld's operations. I think you two will go far in the service of Homeworld." Tugtupite congratulated as she turned her attention to the Seraphinite.

"Hello Newborn. I am Tugtupite of Homeworld as you likely already know from the announcement I made when I arrived. I would really like to better introduce myself but as of currently I have some pressing matters to take care of so I leave you with an invitation, not a demand, to join us in furthering the agenda of the all powerful Diamonds on Earth for the good of all gems." Tugtupite was begining to get into the same groove as if she had never stopped her job of taking care of Newborns. It was like the act was second nature to her.

Tugtupite turned to Cymophane, Howlite and Clinohumite finally with a more stern expression on her face. The sooner these Newborns got used to the stricture of Homeworld the better. "Now you three. I have a very important assignment for you and while I'm not sure of how well you'll be able to handle it know that I have faith in your abilities. I need the three of you to protect yourselves and your fellow potential Homeworld recruits from any harm that may come your way. I will be back as soon as I can but I must make out presence known to those rebellion gems now so as though not to accidentally set them off and have them wildly attack at us." Tugtupite explained, all the while slowly backing herself up towards the stone wall. After finishing her blurb Tugtupite summoned a shield around her person and shifted two stone slabs under her feat which she then levitated in the direction of Cavan and Marry but not before giving Cymophane, Howlite and Clinohumite a diamond hand gesture as a sign of confidence in their abilities.

Tugtupite finally made her way over to Marry and Cavan slowly so as though not to accidentally provoke them though she was fairly certain Cavan wouldn't attack her off the bat simply due to their history. At first Tugtupite said nothing, simply staring at the duo.

"Cavan, Marry. What brings you to this Kindergarten? I presume your not here for a lovely stroll." Tug fianlly said in order to take charge over the conversation.

Marnie firmly nods her head and calmly sits down closing her eyes trying to focus. It takes her a bit before she can figure out a clear image of what she looked like before she got poofed. Well she was sitting there a small light came from her gem has it her physical body started to come into vision.
First, it was her body like Tug said then her arms and legs before her head and hair. Once the basic shapes were down a ball of water formed around her newly formed gem body has colour started to fill in the lines. The water ball then bubbles like a bubbles and the gem drops to the ground. She breaths heavily coughing a bit has she shook her head trying to get her vision straighten out. She then leans back and looks at her hands and legs. They were now more transparent than before, so she just guessed that was because she didn't really remember that they looked like too well. "That was harder than I thought it would be," Marnie says coughing a little bit her voice trying to restore itself.

Tugtupite made a huge mistake, announcing she was from homeworld. Combining her speech with Caven's warning and the emerging newborns that Tugtupite was trying to convert over to the heretic diamonds would make Marry's blood boil if she had any. What was even more stupid of the Tugtupite was approaching Marry and Cavan via levitating rocks to ask them why they were here! Marry looked at Tugtupite with scorn, although it was hard to see her eyes from behind her hair.

"Your from homeworld? Are you trying to kill these newborns?" Marry said, raising her voice for all to hear. "Those diamond monsters will shatter any newborn here that doesn't follow their exact role! All in a stagnant society that never changes!" Marry continued, holding one of her arms in front of her, ready to conjure her shield if fighting broke out. "But I bet you've never had a thought of your own in your life. Or saw innocent gems being shattered just to make geoweapons."

It was a bit difficult for Marry not to be mad at anything that mentioned it was from homeworld or worshipped homeworld. Sure she wouldn't outright attack Tugtupite, as she probably was just one of those ignorant homeworld gems who never saw the atrocities that the diamonds had committed on their own people just to take over a new world. Either way Marry wasn't too pleased with the situation, and hoped Caven had something better to say. After all, the way that Tugtupite and Cavan looked at each other, it looked like they had some history together.

Howlite

At this moment a lot of things happened all at once, two Crystal gems made an appearance and made some surprisingly friendly introductions considering the homeworld machines swarming the place. She was rather confused by the fighting comment, but then again there was a poofed gem, the forcible acquisition of Seraphinite and the head hit she had received for her light so she supposed that could make sense. It was very dark down here after all, easy to misinterpret these things. On the other hand it looked like there was in fact going to be fighting, as Tugtupite ordered her, a data management gem, to help protect them alongside the chameleon and the super soldier.

”uh, Tugtupite ”

”Just so you know”
”I wasn’t built for fighting”
”But I guess I can still draw my sword and try”
what they don't know,
was her real reluctance,
when you live for yourself, your not prepared to die.

Still maybe they could all end this peacefully, Tugtupite was very insistent that joining homeworld was voluntary and she was going to negotiate. Sure this didn’t match here vitriol about the crystal gems earlier but maybe things where not so bad as the kindergarten's archives led her to believe.

"Your from homeworld? Are you trying to kill these newborns.... Or saw innocent gems being shattered just to make geoweapons."

Then again maybe not.

Some of the Moldsvite’s speech lined up with what she knew, gems had been noted to be shatter for just that in the archives. But maybe had that changed since, after all she had just been ordered to break with her role by a homeworld agent, and the defective Marnie had not been shattered either. She was lacking so much data and it frustrated her infinitely that she couldn’t make informed decisions. So she remained where she was, carefully watching the two other gems that were off in the dark behind them and hoped to learn more from the discussion between the Cavansite, Moldsvite and Tugtupite.

[col
Seraphinite

As Seraphinite was set placed upon the ground before the homeworld gem by Clinohumite, a feeling of heat would start to tremble within her. She didn’t recognize what this feeling was at first, this pulsating drumbeat of emotion that pulsed through her physical form, deafening her to all of the chatter and talk going on around her. If anyone was paying attention to the small gem, they’d see her quickly rise to their feet, standing at their full height of around 5 feet, if not an inch or two shorter.

Underneath a mop of green-tinged white hair, teeth would grind together, fingers would curl up into fists, and all of the fear and apprehension that had built up inside would quickly and soundly turn into anger as she took a deep breath, then let out a single, loud outburst, made even louder by the natural acoustics of the cave.

SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU JUST BE QUIET!!

As she screamed, the gem on her back would suddenly take on a bright glow, filling the room with a blinding flash. When everything cleared, feather-like constructs of light would flutter through the air as Seraphinite stood before them all, flowing wings of energy spread out behind her, each covered with a dozens upon dozens of eyes, each one looking everywhere, taking in every detail to the utmost degree before seeming to focus on each gem in particular. With a snarl, Seraphinite turned first to the loud Gem that kept talking about this ‘Homeworld’ place and how they were supposed to fall in line with her because of it. ”Who are you to tell me what to do? I don’t know anything about this ‘Homeworld’ place that you’re talking about, or these Diamonds, or Earth, or any of it?!?! All I know is that everything is loud, and terrifying, and that you’re by far the loudest, most irritating thing here, and that’s reason enough for me to tell you to but out and leave me alone.”

And with that, Seraphinite moved to storm off, away from the madness that was the other gems, but before making it far, she took a bit of revenge on the gem closest to her(which she deduced to be the one who had come out of nowhere to drag her through rock and earth) and sent a hard kick directly into their shin. For a gem, it wasn’t a particularly strong kick, so it was doubtful they would feel much in the way of pain from it. Still, it made Seraphinite feel a bit better as they continued to storm away from the group, but also avoiding the similar looking beings that were opposite of the ‘Homeworld’ gem, because she doubted they’d be any easier to deal with at the moment. What the green gem wanted right now was peace and quiet, a place where she could relax and acclimate to whatever the hell anything was.

((Among those who knew about Seraphinites, this ones lack of knowledge and general demeanor would seem greatly off-putting, as the first thing a Seraphinite does after reforming is look for a master of sorts. However, given the outright terror that had been the first few minutes of her birth, it seems that this one had taken to closing of the world in her irritation and fear. Whatever the case, one thing that would probably be best was to either leave her be, or take very cautious and non-hostile/aggressive actions towards her, lest she falls into her combat protocol. If such a thing were to happen, it wouldn’t be unlikely for one of the current newborns to get cracked, or even shatter, in the ensuing fight, as a scared Seraphinite in battle is not something to be taken lightly.))

Cavan

"Cavan, Marry. What brings you to this Kindergarten? I presume your not here for a lovely stroll." Tugtupite's words brought an entire host of unwelcome emotions that only added to the maelstrom of emotions swirling inside him that he was picking up from the other gems. Before Cavan could speak, Marry cut in.

"You're from homeworld? Are you trying to kill these newborns?" Marry said, raising her voice for all to hear. "Those diamond monsters will shatter any newborn here that doesn't follow their exact role! All in a stagnant society that never changes!" Marry continued, holding one of her arms in front of her. Cavan assumed she was ready to take offensive action, however he hadn't deemed it necessary. Yet. "But I bet you've never had a thought of your own in your life. Or saw innocent gems being shattered just to make geoweapons."

SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU JUST BE QUIET!!

A Newborn Seraphinite burst out, demanding attention. Her words certainly drew focus, however the wings that burst from her back, accompanied by a large flash of green light, were probably the real show stoppers. ”Who are you to tell me what to do? I don’t know anything about this ‘Homeworld’ place that you’re talking about, or these Diamonds, or Earth, or any of it?!?! All I know is that everything is loud, and terrifying, and that you’re by far the loudest, most irritating thing here, and that’s reason enough for me to tell you to butt out and leave me alone.”

As she continued on in her speech and the emotions of the other gems flooded into Cavan's mind, a scream began to build deep within his chest. It rose in intensity and force the longer the Newborn stumbled on. Cavan loved that she wanted to be free to make her own choice, however her inconvenience and inappropriate timing during such a crucial confrontation was nothing short of loathsome to Cavan. As she continued on, Cavan's temper, fed by the emotional whirlwind he was experience, burst forward in a powerful display.
"You will be silent."

Dazzling royal blue light emanated softly from Cavan's gem in his throat as his voice took on an eerie crystalline quality, sweeping through the cavern like a physical shockwave. The volume of his voice wasn't magnificent, however the deep, primal feeling to heed his words that it evoked more than compensated for that. Each gem in the room fell silent, heeding the actions of the Cavansite gem.

There was a long moment of silence in the cavern as the echoes of his voice bounced off of the walls, slowly fading into the passages that led away from the group. Cavan was a high ranking Homeworld officer before he became a Rebellion gem, but in each position he was accustomed to people heeding him. Disrespect and clamor were things he had not had the displeasure of experiencing for years, and he didn't approve of it.

Finally, Cavan turned his focus towards Tugtupite. "Enough ill-disguised pleasantries. We all know why we're here and what we have to do."

While his voice had lost the crystalline quality signature of his persuasion powers, his tone and gaze were like steel. Despite his mediocre stature, his presence was notable to all in the cavern.

"Let's not make this any more distasteful than it has to be, Tug."

Chloe Clinohumite
Serves the beauty of Homeworld!
~~~
Interactions: @Raijinslayer@HaltingBlooper@DracoLunaris@pyroman@rocketrobie2@December
Chloe beamed brightly at her official's great gratitude of her efforts, pride quickly swelling her chest as she thought of how well she would serve Homeworld under her new rank of leaders. However, such stagnate wallowing in favor would not be allowed any longer, as Tugtupite gave the Clinohumite and her colleagues yet another mission; transporting the newborns. Oh, indeed, such would be extremely easy! Clino diamond-signed back to her commander in the most dignified stance she could muster, for the gem was undoubtedly grateful of all Tugtupite had done for the small, newborn group surrounding her. Now, yet another generous task was at hand; safely extracting the other newborns. They were all placid enough, now if nothing were to happen th-
SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU JUST BE QUIET!!
Chloe was nearly stunned by the Seraphinite's outburst. It was sudden, hoarse, and over-all infuriating. The small, almost infant-like gem continued her screaming, preaching this and that about how she knew nothing and she obeyed no-one. It nearly resounded with the words uttered by the rebels...
"You're from homeworld? Are you trying to kill these newborns?"
"All in a stagnant society that never changes!"
"But I bet you've never had a thought of your own in your life."
Yet, how could such imbeciles say this, after all Tugtupite had already done for the Newborn group?!
Clino gritted her teeth as the small gem proceeded blowing off her blasphemous steam at everyone's expense. Indeed, if any credit was due to Seraph, it was that she had passion. Passion of all the wrong kinds, of course. Chloe nearly tore the head off the little creature, only restrained by her important assignment and the will to keep any cover they had left not blown. Sadly, such self-restraint could not last for long. The tipping point was when the green gem just decided to, of all things, WALK AWAY. Just up and remove herself from her higher-ups and calling, without any strain of remorse. This... this traitorous behavior from a gem just blessed with life... made Clino nearly blow her top completely. Picking the feisty green gem by the hair, Chloe hoisted Seraphinite up to her angered features and started her own aggressive rant. "That is no way to talk to a gem that is here to ensure your life! Such words show you have no respect for Homeworld, the people who created you, and your protectors. With your little outburst, there are now gems aware of our location who now threaten to shatter us. So I suggest you keep your place, or be shattered by both sides. That's all you need to know now, Seraph, so ask no mo-"
"You will be silent."
Traitorous ideas and actions, obviously, now ran rampant around Chloe. With Tugtupite momentarily absent, the rebellion already started grasping for helpless Newborns. These rebels were all as dastardly and as sick as the Clinohumite had expected. They found no solace except in the grievous tempting of others. Now, they tempted right under Chloe's nose; her prime duty to protect Homeworld's ambitions from such influential traitors failing completely. Yet, through all this mental turmoil and physical silence, only one angering thought ever entered the Clinohumite's raging mind; 'How dare they?'
With the orange gem's features now emulating a burning rage, Chloe threw the Seraphinite aside and burrowed, lightning-quick, towards the engaged rebels and Tugtupite. Chloe was built to fight. She was built to destroy. But most of all, Chloe was built to stop traitors. She would not allow the tendrils of the rebellion to ensare such innocent gem youth, bringing them up to be murderers and deniers of the Diamonds. It was her ultimate duty, anywhere and anytime, to snuff out the engulfing flame of rebellion. Though she had been ordered to protect the Newborns, Clino would instead protect the Newborns' minds from the sinful glamour and attraction that traitorous antics and thoughts portrayed. Chloe needed to show the beauty~ of homeworld, and she would do so with action!
Bursting through the frail earthen surface, Chloe found her whole body burning with a purposeful sensation. Almost emanating from her was an aura of righteous anger, of the will to destroy these traitors and their nefarious works. With Cavan's heretical spell now lifted, Chloe quickly spoke up louder than anyone.
"Shut your trap, filthy traitor!"
Tugtupite remained silent for a moment after Marry spoke before presenting her counter argument to the gem's.
"Firstly I will inform you that I have seen many many newborns shattered by your band of traitors. Fresh from the ground, full of folly only to fall to the clutches of your kind. I've had many of those that were once in my care shattered at the hands of your rebellion. Secondly, to suggest that I haven't thought for myself is gross accusation and speaks leagues of your own supposed scientific prowess. I've not been hidden away absently twiddling my thumbs Marry. I've been watching your group extensively." Tugtupite said focusing solely on Marry and ignoring Cavan to some degree.
"Concluding, I will inform you that you look at roles as constricting one. WE see it as being able to reach your full potential in your given field." Tugtupite finished, this time directing it at both Marry and Cavan. It was at this moment that they Seraphinite lost it, a sadly commonplace among newborns. It would be best to let the gem be on there way and hope to recruit them at a later date.
Suddenly Cavan's voice rang out over the cavern, rendering most inside silent. Tugtupite stayed silent half by choice and half by obligation to the gem's power. The gem's follow up sentence made Tugtupite's insides boil with a rage that she hadn't felt in many years. While Cavan's gaze was very stern and powerful, Tugtupite's gaze bellowed like an inferno.
"Thats Tugtupite to your like."
Suddenly Tugtupite regained her composure, she refused to let her emotions get in the way of her job. She would let this slide but she hoped that if the gem truly didn't want a confrontation that he would head her warning. Suddenly Tugtupite noticed what had happend while she was in her daze as the Clinohumite popped up in front of her, ready to start a fight. Tugtupite would have likely let the gem test her limits in a fight like this in a normal case but this was no normal case as Tug came to the realization that Clino had done harm to the Seraphinite. Quickly Tug leapt down beside the Clinohumite and put up her modular shield around the two of them.
"You fool!" Tugtupite hissed at the young gem as she grabbed her arm. "Seraphinites aren't a gem to be thrown around!" Tug whispered angrily as she let out some of her pent up frustration out on the newborn.
"This conversation is over. You may take any gems that don't come with us." Tugtupite said in the rebellion's direction before using her powers to quickly move herself and Clinohumite back to the other group in preparation for the possible counter attack by the Seraphinite. Tugtupite opened her shield up to encase all of the Newborns in order to protect them.
Aquamarine
Aqua had made a grave mistake. She had assumed that with the alarm, Marry would have already shut down and locked the wrap pads before she even had time to exit her room but obviously from the sound of that gem's voice....it had not been the case. Her face was as calm as ever, no surprise to be held and her position not changing from its previous stance. In the eyes of anyone watching, they might have assumed she knew he would be there and that she had been waiting for him to arrive. Inside, her heart jumped into her throat with a feeling of surprise as well as other unwanted feelings before hot spirals of anger clawed at her just for a moment before being pushed away. Anger had no place here. She needed to keep cool and have her head about her since this would be her only saving grace. She could go toe to toe with Blood, hold her own longer than any other and she was sure that would still be the case. However, Blood always won in the end and Aqua understood that she wasn't the only one that had gotten stronger since their time absent from one another. A battle against him would be unwise since she didn't know what he had up his sleeve anymore which would make for a destructive battle, full of difficult obstacles.
"Why, Bloodstone, I am flattered that you would take the time to memorize such outdated information on me."Aquamarine stated calmly, keeping her eyes locked in his and holding her ground even as he stood before her. A small smile graced her lips before she continued her words,"Unfortunately, I must be going." A sudden dense flood of clouds and fog filled the area, making it almost a think soup of moisture that was difficult to even see just in front of your view. She used this moment to turn, her first step making a path of ice to the Temple before she jumped to the ground and slid into the small opening of the closing Temple doors. The clouds would not be a long distraction for the red gem, maybe the bots but not Blood so she needed to act fast. She moved to Marry's control panel, locking the wrap pads first before turning on as many defenses as she could in the short time. That in place, she walked to the portal waiting for her and stepped through to what could only be called an awkward and tense situation. Ebony eyes gazed over all of the newborns, it was obvious some had already chosen HomeWorld's side but then again many gems had too strong of a pull to what was programmed.
Clinohumite....it was easy to see why the Newborn would instantly choose HomeWorld but she looked to this gem with sadness. Aqua would never be the one to tell her the truth about her sisters before her and honestly, she prayed the gem never found out.
Indicolite, not one to take lightly even with their appearances and behaviors...Aqua had related to them and Lapis types the most but it seemed that this gem had made her choice since she was very much near HomeWorld's spider.
Cymophane, another gem standing near HomeWorld's side and a Howlite too. She had not been around many Cymophane's in the past but she wished to know more but probably would not be able too.
It was difficult to look at Howlite as her past memories of another caused pain. Every Howlite would be different but they looked so very similar and it had been her failure for not being strong enough. Howlite....her Howlite....had pushed her to be a better leader but that was long ago
Seraphinite, she wished she had been here for her. If she had stepped through the portal to yelling then it was probably not the first time. It would have been horrible and nerve wracking for one such as her. Blind and having no answers, plus so many voices. Aqua was not sure why the other was on the ground but it could not be good. This was the one gem she spent extra time looking at so that she could try to calm her a bit through her mind.Seraphinite, calm yourself. Focus only my voice and take deep breaths. I don't know what has happened to you since your beginning but now that I am here, I promise that you will be protected. If you are hurt then I will heal the damage done by careless hands. If no harm has come to you and you are on the ground do to too much noise, relax and try to focus on one sound at a time while picturing the sound dimming down. You will need to learn to adjust to heightened senses when you can't use your wings.
It brought happiness to know they were alive. That all the work to keep them safe from humans and corruption had not been for nothing. They had been her world for a long time now but it seemed more were willing to leave her from first glance than not. She would never get to know some of them and would probably find herself against them more than not in the future. This had not been how she had wished this day to be. In the end, Aqua would always choose their happiness even if it wasn't with her."I see I was not the only one with a pleasant greeting."Aqua stated before turning her attention to Tugtupite. Why did it have to a Tugtupite? She could handle the gem fine but it would be a hassle and Blood would not be far behind plus she had to make sure none of the Newborns were hurt during an exchange. "I do not wish to start a fight as this could harm the Newborns as I am sure you don't either. It is the Newborns choice to what they wish their lives to be like and so far, all I see is that you are pushing them in whatever way you want. It is disgraceful that you would say that we could have any that don't go with you. You would leave them lost and alone should what you call an enemy just leaves. War is war...but you lack compassion as you only look at the past. HomeWorld killed just as many Newborns and your Diamonds might I add, did the most horrible thing you could do to a gem other than shattering and to their own soldiers no less instead of just leaving Earth alone which was to corrupt them into beasts. Instead of just letting some of us gems be different and live in peace. If the Newborns wish to follow in the lines they were made and never look outside their blinders, I will not stop them. I will let them leave with you as all I wish is for their happiness as I have protected them till this day just so they could live however they choose. However, have you even given them any of these facts? Did you plan to leave them feeling deceived after they had decided to come and had second thoughts upon these facts? How many has your precious Bloodstone crushed before you arrived so that you could be in his service? Have you looked into your Diamonds face as they ordered you to be shattered with no ounce of remorse even for doing nothing wrong? I have....the Diamond make gems to own them. The worlds and everything they create are their playthings. If something doesn't line up, deemed defective or has no use any longer....they destroy it but I am sure you would not see it that way. Loyalty...so different for everyone. I am not just a medic. I am not just a gem that leads Newborns to their place. I am not just a protector. I am much more then that. I was not born to be a gem that fights but now I am just as strong as any Quartz and even stronger then some of those. Gems can choose to be more than just their potential and the box you lay out for them."
After seeing All of the gems get so mad each other she calmly climved back up om the spider bpt and stood inbetween Tug and these other gems. "Why are you fighting? If I'm correct these problems should be in the past. If your fighting over us then you should just stop, let us choose who we want tp go with. So maybe you all should back away and let is quote on quote Newborn gems talk things out with ourselves and each other," Marnie says her arms out stretches at her sides trying to make herself look bigger amd act has a barrier between them, "I don't care right now If I end up slipping and becoming locked inside this thing on my chest. I just don't want y'all to fight over something that happened in the past!"
The gem was still slightly transparent since they didn't completely materialized yet after reforming but you could visibly see that she was terrimbling out of fear, her voice was cracking and dishyrmonious but it was able to get her point across to them none of the less and understandable. While waiting for their responses to her random uncalled for ignorant out burst she tightly closed her eyes braising herself for anything bad that could happen, like one od them attacking another and her getting stuck in the cross fire, she does end up slipping and she gets poofed but someone ends up stepping on her causing her gem to crack or worse shatter. The idea of somethung bad happening and having an affect on the Gem terrified her, it caused her to want to curl up and wish she never left that hole.
Well things were going about as good as Marry expected. This was one of those homeworld gems who had never seen the true evil of the diamonds, and they were brainwashing some of the younglings to follow in that same suit of mindlessness. Though that little bit about letting the rebellion gems take a few of them was weird. Especially if she was one of those 'nanny' homeworld gems. Caven probably had some dirt on this Tugtupite or something that would get her shattered by her homeworld masters if they found out or it was a trap. Either way if given the choice, Marry wouldn't be taking the Clinohumite. She had quite the rude personality to her. Though there were some tests she could run...
Then things escalated, mostly the newborns and the mean Clinohumite trying to beat one of them up. Then Aqua finally arrived, and gave a speech to the nweborns to settle them down, Marry closing her portals when she no longer needed to maintain them. "Your a lot better with words than me Aqua." Marry said, nodding at Aquas speech. Though Aqua showing up and giving a speech was a bit... strange. Sure it was par for the course for Aqua, but just the whole situation, what with newborns inside a flimsy shield conjured by the Tugtupite to try to 'protect' them but instead give them an arena to fight each other, Aqua giving a speech to try to settle down the gems after Caven attempted with his emotion powers, and then a new development with one of the newborns just crawling in a fetal position.
"Hey you Tugtupite. I'd recommend dropping that shield of yours. It wont protect you from us and giving those little ones a cage to fight that bear of a Clinohumite who looks like shes ready to shatter a few of them. Get her to settle down before I have to come down there and discipline the lot of you with science." Marry said, a bit agitated but also a bit amused at just how inept this 'homeworld' gem was at her own job, a job she'd be shattered for if she failed. Or she would just be shattered if she looked at the wrong gem the wrong way. Either way, Marry was ready to jump in and intervene should things not improve or get worse.
