Thomas had a burning desire to bang his head on a wall, the only reason he wasn't doing so being that it wouldn't help in his current situation. He'd helped to unwrap the vice president and left her with Alex (after stuffing Finn into a closet) so that he could have a moment to think about the situation at hand, and how royally he'd managed to screw it up. The signs were all there but he didn't want to believe it. It was inconceivable, from both a logical and realistic point of view. It just didn't really make sense, but there was no denying that as soon as the being had left, Maribel could no longer log in. And there was no denying that Thomas's impatience at least contributed to the current state of affairs. He ran through the scenario in his head. Ge could've worded his demands differently, connected the dots sooner, he could've done any number of things that may have changed the outcome, but the fact remained that he didn't do anything and couldn't do anything to change the situation, and that left only one question. What did he do now? Thomas though for a moment and decided that this decision wasn't his to make alone. He decided to ask Bel. It was her head, she had the most say about what to do in this situation. After a few false starts he finally sent a brief message to the blue haired girl. Before I can fill you in, I need to know something. What do you want to do now? [/quote] [@TheWindel]
