Secondly, what is the multiverse like? Is there some special organization governing all the dimensions? If there is, is the organization large comprising of departments and stuff, is it run by only a handful of individuals, or is there only one really powerful being?

*Note that if you leave it up to me, I will have a large organization governing the multiverse.

Also, how do crossing dimensions work? Do you jump into a portal or do you simply get teleported? Or both?
