[@PlatinumSkink] Yeah, I actually talked to the writer, and knowing that, it's far more clever.  <3  Not sure why I missed it, but it might be because I always assume authors are goint to be at least somewhat realistic -- or figure out a way to do it wihtout breaking suspension of disbelief.  So if a character is not technically invulnerable, there's going to be a reason they avoid injury that makes at least some sense.  ^.^

Still can't figure out why the story strikes me as missing something, though.  =/  *headdesk*  Might just be my taste in tales.
