@Shoryu Magami Yes, because she was an interesting character, so I am creating a entire planet or RP really. Scarlett N. Atkinson, is the character I want to reuse. However, I don't know if the RP will be your cup of tea since you got two massive projects on your hands aka GRG and GA.

And I started working on this separate project from the big one I was working on since yeah, I need something smaller in scope. So just a planet within a solar system, is small enough. Its funny I did the start of this project when I am sick, and that was yesterday. I have no idea, why I can be so inventive and creative when I am sick. I think other people have the opposite effect when they are sick. >.>;

@GarlandDaHero Np, I enjoy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Black Knight: "Its only a flesh wound."

I find that being sick doesn't really impact my creativity one way or another, although it might impact my ability to use that creativity depending on how ill I am; however, I don't get sick too often, though it's also accurate to say that I have symptoms of being ill virtually 24/7.

As for the role-play you're working on, I've actually built whole role-play settings around a character before too, so I know how that goes. I've got no idea whether or not I could get involved, not only because I'm always very picky with role-plays but also because - as you've already pointed out - I need to avoid spreading myself out too much, considering I plan to work on GA and GRG at the same time.

@Shoryu Magami I might even use the setting I am creating again, after all its better to keep on building something than letting fall to the way side. I have done that with too many of my roleplays I've started but never finished because of the predestined ending I had for each of them also doesn't help my erratic posting on those roleplays in the past.

What tag would GA get? In terms of its setting. Just wondering, if you think it'll be spoilers you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.

The one trope out all the video games, its mostly in the JRPG. 'Ancient Technology Always Works.'

If I actually like a concept I create, it always ends up getting integrated into GA in some way if possible, and the stuff I've created for GRG is no exception (considering it's part of GA's multiverse anyway); in fact, I plan on creating 'expy' versions of my GRG characters in GA -- some of the GRG characters are always 'expies' of GA characters technically.

Right, overall I find that being too unpredictability with posting for role-plays is an issue. One of the biggest problems with this site is that a large portion of the community lack commitment. Role-playing is a social hobby at its core and people who can't show commitment are better suited to solo writing instead. Too many good role-plays get destroyed by people being flaky, which is why I've got pretty strict commitment requirements in GRG.

With tags, I assume you mean on this site if GA turned into a role-play. Well, it would definitely have 'Anime/Manga' due to the art style I use in my franchise, it would definitely have 'Modern' because regardless of what time the story is set in the world definitely resembles the modern era. 'Fantasy' and 'Sci-Fi' would be an extreme maybe, because the former usually means stuff like LoTR in my eyes and the latter might be deceptive due to the science fiction elements in GA being sort of an illusion or decoy. Most of the other tags I could mention would be spoilers.

I'm inclined to say it would just use the same tags that GRG is unless I decide another option makes sense, since GRG is part of GA's multiverse anyway. I don't know if 'Steampunk' is appropriate for a modern setting that has advanced technology, especially when the technology isn't what it seems to be.

There's a lot of tropes I can relate to GA, considering I actually have a document listing all the appropriate tropes for my story and even for each individual character, including how those tropes are used (straight, subverted, deconstructed, et cetera) and the explanation.

@Shoryu Magami You are definitely informative in terms of your multiverse, you are creating. When I create characters, I usually put them in my multiverse, as slightly different people but the same in some cases. However, I've created three AI Controlled Starships and the only one I haven't finished its profile for is the largest starship. The largest starship is called the Grand Destroyer the Enigmatic Annihilation Vessel, as its name stands it is out for the destruction of all other multiverses or realms that don't belong but it failed in destroying the Lyriss Multiverse.

It succeeded in destroying the Machine Multiverse, which was a piece of cake for that starship since it was a peaceful multiverse but they didn't have any good weaponry to damage the Grand Destroyer. While it appeared in the Main Realm for a bit, only to get badly damaged by the combined forces of the EDF and X-COM Empire and the Chaos Titan, which was supposed to be giving technology to another empire within the Main Realm called the Existence Empire. The Genesis Drive Technology, which allows it to travel to different multiverses without going through the Multiversal Travel Gate and the Chaos Titan had the most advanced Genesis Drive. That starship was a combined effort of the EDF, X-COM Empire and the Existence Empire.

The Grand Destroyer was stopped in the Jaina'Res Multiverse by the Chaos Titan, was supposed to be the new flagship for the X-COM Empire Combined Forces; which have the Earth Defense Force & X-COM Empire protecting each other from a greater threat. The original name of the Chaos Titan, was called the Ark of Salvation. Huh, I guess I enjoy talking about my futuristic multiverse...

I use to take everything I created an inserted it into my world/universe/set of dimensions/thing. At first, this had the benefit of expanding the universe in an interesting way. it felt like I was actually creating something epic like a world instead of a scenario. as time went on, I found this process more limiting. Everything I made now had to fit neatly inside this world I created. I take special pride in making things that don't fit into my world, or any world for that matter. An odd thing for someone who hosts a fan RP to say, I know.

But it was cool for a time. Not really for me anymore.

Planned to respond to people earlier than this, but it's frankly been a shitty couple of days.

@Landaus Five-One

I try to be as informative as I can, without spoiling too much.

As for what you described to me:

I don't have spaceships or such in my project (as I mentioned already), but the whole dimensional/multiverse thing is a big point I relate to. Most of the characters in my story whose names are worth mentioning could outright destroy dimensions/multiverses (and far beyond) with a thought if they were operating at their full power.

The people in my circle who follow GA actually think I've probably made the most powerful/broken fictional series to date, but I've gone out of my way to balance the characters in a way where they more or less cancel each other out most of the time. I haven't deliberately tried to make them insanely powerful, but it came as a result of me aiming to both create something unique and also to really mess with esoteric/metaphysical concepts.

@GarlandDaHero

I know about Berserk (I know most of the spoilers), but I haven't seen it personally.

@BrokenPromise

Actually, I relate to what you said at the end there (though I don't really host fandom role-plays personally, and only rarely join them), because I actually consider the style of characters I create in terms of their concepts and such to not really fit at all into any setting except my own. Like their concepts, even their characterization is usually something distinctly my own. The same applies to my settings. This is one of the reasons why I don't comfortably fit into other people's role-plays as a general rule, because I really only have a passion for writing because of GA, so when I can't use those characters I feel 'meh' about a role-play (there's a few exceptions) and lose interest.

That's also why I told Garland previously that I have trouble making characters outside of GA, which means that most of the characters I do end up making either adopt ideas or characterization from the GA cast or - like all the GRG characters I've made - can and will get transferred over to GA as 'expies' of sorts, which is easier with something like GRG since it's part of GA's multiverse.

I was actually reading the manga, both because I heard the original anime is pretty meh and because my laptop is so old and shitty that it can probably only handle the manga without overheating.

Right. I don't know too much about the original anime, except that it basically ends really badly due to the manga not being close to finished.

While I'm not currently in a state of mind that's focused enough to elaborate, yeah, pretty much.

Even if I just explained what the 'mooks' in my project basically are, people would start to see how ridiculous it is, since they themselves would utterly destroy most fictional characters in a solo battle.

One of the 'trademarks' of my project is to have exceedingly powerful characters but to do so on a metaphysical level, so it doesn't just turn into some sort of 'who can do the biggest explosion' cockfight. The characters in my story don't seem too powerful until you actually take the time to understand the implications of what they're doing.

As a lot of the people who took part in this thread already know, I'll be permanently leaving this site within the next month; in fact, the only reason I'm here now at all is to collect some information I stored.

I've already taken steps to make sure that my contact details are available in my bio, so anyone who genuinely wants to keep in touch with me - like several people already have expressed the desire to - is able to use those to do it. I won't be allowing anyone who disrespected me to remain in contact with me though.

Similarly, this hang-out thread has already been replaced by the Discord channel that I spoke about creating a long while back in this thread; however, I won't be adding a link to it - or the site I'll be creating for my projects - here in the thread, both because it's advertising and also because I'm not allowing the more toxic or immature people in this community to find it. You'll have to get in touch with me through one of my contact methods if you want in on that channel.

I figured it was about time I posted this up, since I made my decision to leave official at least a couple weeks ago. To those who I don't see again, this is good bye.
