Welp... I'm trying it again. I attempted to host a role play before and it failed miserably, but this is a much less detailed idea and so I feel like it might live. The name is up for change, of course.
My idea is that there is multiple 'heroes' in an alternate universe, where it's uncommon but still possible to have mutations and powers that come with them. But, they aren't really heroes. In fact, they're more a bunch of idiots and gangbusters that stumbled upon their powers more than anything. They all have their own lives, completely separate from one another, when an evil force known as "The Voodoo Man" arises. Using sickly shadows and puppeteering people who are weak at heart, suffering from rage, heartbreak, and the like. These people are empowered by the Voodoo Man, and follow his orders, though they have no idea who he is or what he looks like— they don't even know his goal. The villains only comply with the voice in their heads that promise them what they desire, whether it be money, power, love, or the like. That's where our troupe comes in. The government sent out for mutants to help fight against the Voodoo Man and his villains, naming the group "Generation X." Each one of our characters were personally affected by the Voodoo Man or his little puppets, and have a personal grudge against him. The only problem is that, well... they aren't too friendly with one another. In fact, most of them hate each other's guts or simply don't get along. They're selfish, they're crude, they're violent, and they're snarky but they are the only chance we got against the Voodoo Man. Maybe they'll grow on each other...? Let's hope for the best! GO GET HIM, GENERATION X!
Yes, I took elements from Marvel, One Punch Man, The Miraculous Ladybug etc. I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT PUTTING THIS HERE EARLIER!
