Well, liquids in and of themselves shouldn't be a problem; but I WOULD question whether or not that much Ginger Ale could be good for you. I used to be a nursing student, and I know other liquids like orange juice or other juices would be just fine. The only thing I'd question with Ginger Ale is that it's soda--but the soda thing is rather debateable anyway. I'd say that you're *probably* fine, I don't see why they could say 7-up is fine but not Ginger Ale.
