John's expression dulled as he looked at Kaoru. She was attempting to get answers out of the mercenary by tickling him.

John sighed.

Sam on the other hand gave no reaction at first, but began to chuckle, if somewhat reluctantly. After just a moment of this, his laughter was interrupted by another punch courtesy of John. While Sam hated the idea of begging for his life, he was actually trying to bail his younger sister out of a situation back home, and wasn't planning to die on her. Besides, the cat woman was kinda hot.

"They said this guy came through it." He was talking about John "Some star trek shit about going between dimensions. Funny cause I thought that would be hard to miss. Like...a big black hole would open up or something."

He thought to his likely dead companions.

"Maniacles persistent, if we fail to capture you, they will send more mercenaries. Tougher ones. Its only a matter of time."
