[@Xandrya][hider]From what I have seen of the comics Logan is loosely inspired by Old Man Logan comics in which Logan has a family that is murdered by the Hulk Gang, Logan fifty years ago murdered the X-Men under mind control or whatever Mysterio did to him. Old Man Logan survived and some how ended up on Earth-616 (primary Marvel universe).

His death in the movie is not comic based. The state of America clearly proves that the bad guys didn't take over like in the Old Man Logan comics.[/hider]
I intentionally spoiled the ending for myself before going to see but the ending still hit me like a freight train. It was so hard to see it.
