[@The Grey Dust] I've had open-ended stories before, and that's not automatically an issue.  Additionally, that would be deliberate, and when recognized is actually quite clever.  On the one hand, here...maybe a little.  But on the other, no...it was through the whole story.  A lack of closure is only as you reach the end.
