“When it turned into war… I didn’t think it would turn like this…”
It was 10 years ago… the royal family of Alber was brutally murdered by savage and corrupt spies who disguised as the soldiers of Alber. With this, came the rage of the kingdom’s people and soon a quick search for a successor began… but to no avail, it ended up in a civil war, fires were an everyday thing, and corrupt politicians tried to take the stand, but were quickly shot down or assassinated. It was clear that absolutely nothing was going to work and the crown was not going to get passed to any of the surviving family members since the king never really did bear any legitimate children. 5 years after the murders, a group was formed by a ragtag group of friends who decided to stick together during these difficult times, and they are still trying their best to keep themselves under wraps while politics and fighting still wrecks the towns and cities close to the grand city of Alber. Another 5 years later and nothing is solved at all. The friends are still together, except more people are joining them in this brutal war, and so the friends have decided to keep tabs on them as they also fight for their freedom… This is your story… What happens now is up to you…
Hello! This is an idea made by myself and Salrynn. This is a Low/Dark Fantasy RP set in a medieval kingdom beset by civil war. The main characters are members of a mercenary company, started as a way for a group of friends to fight together, but has turned into quite the formidable force over the years. This RP will concentrate on pitched and somewhat realistic medieval battles, meaning that its probably going to not be for the faint of heart, if you are good with descriptions. And yes, it is set far back, so sexism/racism/various other isms are going to be rife. SO be careful if you are offended by that sort of thing. Magic wont really be a thing, although there are some things in the world that arent quite...explainable, so to speak. Some of them will be explored as the RP goes on. Medieval politics both in and out of the company will also exist. Maybe one mercenary will be looking for a quick promotion, or see the company as a way to get what he wants, conflicting with other members. On a larger scale, the company could work for any side in the war, and should they come out on top, could get rewards beyond their wildest dreams. A story and world has already been mostly written already, so...what do you think?
