[color=gray]Adam’s arms were crossed before his chest, and he was currently wearing a disappointed frown. Every billboard the aircraft passed in flight that read “Gold Star” and not “Booster Gold” pissed him off. How could they have gotten his name wrong? Who was Gold Star? While everyone else was worried about the fate of planet Earth in whatever dimension this was, Adam cared more about his reputation.

[color=8493ca][b]This is us people. The plan is simple. Get in and disable as many of the face huggers as you can. The ones with the baby Starros still on their spines are more like zombies…[/b][/color]

[color=0072bc][b]…and are more like enhanced zombies than Walking Dead zombies…[/b][/color]

Adam narrowed his eyes and asked Skeets, [color=white][b]“What are Walking Dead Zombies? It sounds tautological.”[/b][/color]

Skeets blinked its red eye, and for once, had no logical answer for his question. [color=aba000][b]“It is tautological. I don’t understand it myself.”[/b][/color]

Adam shook his head. [color=white][b]“Rip their spines out. Got it.”[/b][/color]

Skeets’s golden eyelid folded over its red eye as it gave Adam a narrow-eyed look. [i]Really?[/i]

The hangar door was opened and a blast of air whirled into the cabin.

[color=white][b]“That’s the corniest line I’ve ever heard.”[/b][/color]

[color=aba000][b]“I’ve heard worse…”[/b][/color] said Skeets as it floated over to snuggle into Adam’s terminal. [color=aba000][b]“…from you.”[/b][/color]

[color=white][b]“Oh wow, you’re just on a roll today aren’t you?”[/b][/color]

Heroes started to pour like paratroopers out of the plane. Adam noticed that most of the heroes had some sort of flight or gravity-defying mechanism. He glanced over at Miss Kitty Cat (another tautological phrase) and asked her if she needed a lift and gave her a lift over to the hole Batman had created. He set her down inside the building, and he started to daydream about bringing down the entire Planet (Daily Planet).[/color]
