[@Pyromania99] They did a little better with Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby's MC standing out IIRC, have not finished Moon to find out about that set though. I do like the event centered slice-of-life ideas.

[@Rune_Alchemist], [@Zardoric] Based on the games, certain regular pokemon can indeed be OP, but it's usually pretty gimmicky and clever stuff that does it. In an RP, I think taking a different approach is more suitable.

Overall, I am leaning towards a more slice-of-life setting and building various events to add some interesting points to it. Battles will probably be an option to some degree still, and there may be points where battling is necessary, but there'll be a lot of pokemon kept simply for pets and such. There will probably be a bit of a limit to how many people can have, too.

Since I think I'm mostly settled on that now I'll just need to try putting together some event ideas to keep it going for a little while. I'll need one to start, and I'd like another couple on reserve for once we make it through the first as well. Ideas are still very welcome.
