[@Caits]
Eventually the body just goes "nope. Time to sleep" and yes I know that that may be different for insomnia, but eveventually the body overpowers that. The body knows it needs sleep.
This is so laughably untrue, I can't even deal with it and honestly, it's pretty condescending. As someone who struggled with insomnia, linked with depression, for years and took a variety of sleeping pills, sedatives and the like, there isn't a point where the body 'knows it needs sleep'. After several days of not sleeping, it's true that a person can slip in and out of a light sleep involuntarily but there's not a hard limit where a person drops into a proper sleep automatically. If there were or if sleeping pills were as effective as you've implied, insomnia would be much less painful to deal with than it is. As [@Jacobite] has stated, the things you've said have been proved false in the personal experience of people in this group. Whether what we've known is the norm for all people is debatable, though I know others who've also had difficulties with the effectiveness of sedatives, but it doesn't exactly matter, as Virgil seems pretty much like what has happened to me. He hasn't displayed any symptoms that fall out of suspension of disbelief or even outside of personal experience, so I can't see why [@MiddleEarthRoze] has been harried about this, especially after your comments following the opening post. [@Vicier] I can't speak for the other characters, but I explicitly stated in Reinhardt's bio that he's not a full-time Overwatch agent and that he goes wherever the action is. Currently, the action is where McCree is.
