Hello, 27 year old woman here. My role play life began about ten years ago in the Yahoo User Chatrooms, and sadly it also fizzled and dried out when those rooms were dissolved. I've attempted to dive back in several times over the years with little success. The alternative sites were often too daunting, or had so many steps in character creation that I lost enthusiasm before the horses even got out of the gate. I tried other, less regulated areas, but it seems the scourge of the internet fester in these places. However this place looks to be neither too hot nor too cold. I'm quite enthusiastic. :) Personally, I love one to three paragraphs between one to three other persons. I've fandom role-played as well as OC'ed with a couple of persons. I'm an avid podcast listener, and an atrocious speller. Thank god for spell check...although even the internet gods can't decipher my attempts at times (leads to much frustration.) I'm not a terribly slow writer but will take some where between 15 to 30 minutes to get a 3 para post right. I live in Michigan at the moment, but grew up on the Navajo Indian Reservation. I grew up with stories about animal tricksters and spider goddesses, and I love it all. I am an aspiring writer (which it looks like I'm in good company) who is going through a bit of a dry spell. I can't quite get my self out of the auto-biographical depressive cycle. I've heavily into Native American social issues, and those rabbit holes can get pretty dank pretty fast. Honestly, I want to remember why I loved writing in the first place. I want to dig my fingers back into pure fantasy. I owe my life to books, stories and fantasy role play. So...What else? Ah, I saw that new Logan movie and have been itching for a gritty old hero/old villain story line (Magneto anyone?.) Talk to me about podcasts, movies, music, hell, we could have a mutual rage-war over the Soulsborne series (which is currently the only games I have time for...my poor masochistic soul.) I'm a former janitor who works in a little deli located inside a brewery. Give me coffee, give me tea, give me beer, all these things coupled with my computer makes me a happy little writer.
