Personal Section
Name: Kiril Gurevich Nicknames: "Overseer" Team Position: Flanker/Tackler Age: 23 Gender: Male Year at Ace Academy: 2nd Year Appearance:

Standing at 195 cm with a measly 80 kg, Kiril is, for lack of a better word, long. He seems to loom over everyone, leering down on them through his glasses with the look of a judge about to bring down a verdict. He is fairly noticeable in a crowd due to his height and a kind of hurried strut he uses to get around, as if the most important operation in the world has just failed and someone is about to get roasted. He takes much more space than his body does, when in a company of strangers. With his friends, he tends to sort of deflate, projecting an almost forced easygoing attitude that vanishes immediately if he is ever challenged. Personality: Kiril takes everything he does extremely seriously. It is sometimes hard to be around him due to the sheer weight of his personality. He cannot do anything in a laid back fashion, and often demands the same kind of effort from his teammates. But those who know him well understand that this is how he conveys his passion, for the most important parameter to him in any kind of task is teamwork. Specifically, everyone's ability to bring out their best in every situation. He is not good at communicating this, and often surprises people by taking their suggestions and developing them into elaborate plans. Once they get over the fact he only sounds like this is the only way they'd ever be useful, the conversation becomes much more pleasant. Still, the fact Kiril can't let any kind of discussion slip without pitching in can be tiring sometimes. Biography: The son of immigrants who struggled economically, Kiril pushed himself to excel in school in order to build a better future for his family from a very young age. He took the discipline for hard labor given to him by his parents to the next level, and would blaze through the school year towards excellence. This uncompromising, competitive behavior slowly isolated him socially, but he only realized how serious the situation is in high school, where he actually needed help and had a hard time getting any. But instead of making friends, he devised a plan for a give/take relationship with anyone he needed something from. He would trade homework help for physical training, math tutoring for literature tutoring, and a number of students who saw the advantage of such methods combined with Kiril's managerial ability quickly joined the program. By the end of high school everyone knew who Kiril Gurevich was, and almost everyone has given or taken ressources from his self-made program. When enrolling into the academy, he already had a completely different approach to it all. Instead of seeking extreme efficiency alone, he now sought an extremely efficient team, or at least a team that could be made into such. But other than his planning skills, Kiril had no experience piloting and had to learn everything from scratch - and nobody was going to let a rookie manage any kind of team. So he began at the bottom, making all of his mistakes in VR and little league matches. It wasn't long before his name was whispered in certain hallways, and his Gear actively avoided in matches, as the young man would bend all rules in his favor and render any unsuspecting opponent helpless. But instead of solidifying the status of a single team, and his own within it, Kiril would "let go" of his teammates when he felt they've reached their glass ceiling. At the end of the first year he was written up as the pilot who singlehandedly brought no less than five teams out of obscurity. And at the beginning of the second year, he was already approached by sponsors. The first barrier to success was breached.
Combat Section:
Strengths: - Analytical Mind: An almost innate ability to see advantage or disadvantage - Multitasking: The ability to use numerous weapons or moves in combination - Always Prepared: The ability to foresee potential failure in most plans makes one hard to surprise Weaknesses: - Overthinking: Leads to slow response times sometimes - Spread Out: When you're a jack of all trades, you're a master of none - Zealous: Being prepared for failure does not mean one isn't a hundred percent sure his plan is going to work Neutral Values: Long Range combat, Short Range combat.
Gear Section:
Gear Designation: Pripyat Industries Custom-Fitted Kuzov IV Nicknames: OGRE Appearance:

Weapon(s): The Kuzov IV was originally intended for construction, but was refitted for competitive combat due to popular demand for its highly flexible tool interfaces. The OGRE is fitted with an energized prehensile whip used to capture or deflect enemy weapons and limbs, as well as a shield to defend against ranged and some melee attack. Its shield hand is replaced by a powerful multi-barreled weapon that trades range for power, being able to knock back even the heaviest Gear at the right range. The whole setting may seem weird, but Kiril's idea was to bring chaos to the battlefield, with unexpected attacks and surprising resilience. This is why his favorite addition are the shoulder-plate horns, said (by him) to bring fear into the hearts of his enemies.
