Oh! She’d forgotten to go up and say hello to the teacher. She was so absorbed in just taking notes and getting what she could that she hadn’t even went up to say hi. A mistake she didn’t plan to repeat for later classes. When the teacher said good morning it grabbed her attention, and she took the invitation to go over to the teacher's desk and grab the package of missed work. “Um, thank you, I’ll just… take notes for this class and go over this stuff tonight.” She offered the teacher a smile before going back to her seat as the lesson started. It didn’t look like she’d be able to participate due to her lack of catching up, but she could take notes and play catch up over the next few days. She tucked the package of notes she was given into the front of her binder, and turned back to her notes. “Who remembers the original location of the White House, and how it was used before the big move to DC?". Bonny only knew that the white house had to do with the government, and nothing about its history. Regardless, no harm in taking a note and then re reading it in context. She scribbled down “White house before DC move” as a sub heading to her notepage. Luckily, someone on the other side of the class seemed to have the answer. “The White house was originally in Philadelphia, and it was used as one of George Washington's three homes”. Bonnys attention went from the speaker to the teacher, waiting to see if it was the right answer.
