[@Lmpkio] I don't like to butt into arguments, but LMP... there are literally only humans in the college. Not ghosts, not spirits, not anything non-human. In other words, it is non-negotiable, and - in every sense of the word - impossible for Gidorah's "recruiter" to be anything but human.
I wouldn't say that this particular debate has gone on long enough to need outside involvement, though I appreciate the consideration.
*shrugs* Just to be fair, he'll never be seen again so...
That is not true I'm afraid. I'm already thinking of ways to reuse the College's stuff later on in the story for important roles. I would not be logging each new person into the Characters Tab if they were all going to be one-offs. Oh, before I forget, there was one more thing I wanted to address. This is mostly pertaining to players whose characters required adjustment in terms of power to be considered acceptable. I would vastly prefer it if terms like 'nerf' went completely unused. It's far too meta for my taste, and the idea of magic restrictions being placed on the various contestants doesn't sit well with the narrative. Instead, just as I suggested, adjust the character itself. If you can't find an IC reason like 'Dante chooses to fight in only his robes as a testament to the fortitude of his order' or 'X forgot this certain piece of equipment in his haste of leave' or 'Y's gear is on the fritz', make it so that the character was always at that power level. This may mean the character is essentially different from the original, but that was what was agreed to.
