Name: Yamada Manami
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Without the bracelets
Personality: A girl with a cold and strictly-professional front, Manami is extremely hard to approach, thanks to her no-nonsense manner and curt manner of speaking. At school, her entire being seems devoted to upholding the school's regulations to an extreme degree, and her attempts to increase regulations certainly hasn't won her many fans. Manami can come across as overly critical and rigid in her ways, offering no compromises and demanding one's upmost effort at all times. While this is no doubt less than endearing to her fellow students, Manami won't allow herself to fall behind either; standards she imposes on the other students also apply to herself. Luckily, Manami isn't a completely humourless alien. Unfortunately, no one must ever know, for her love of justice and order has manifested in a slightly... unexpected hobby. She loves anything and everything Sentai - the colours, the costumes, the poses, the dialogue - absolutely everything about it is wonderful to her, and when she isn't at school or studying, is squeeing over the greatness of whichever Sentai show she's watching at that moment. Ultimately, Manami is a well-meaning girl, who is willing to play the drill sergeant role if it means her schoolmates can excel. Even if ehr stubborn dedication to the role causes more friction than necessary.
Skills: Self defence - While not a martial artist, Manami has been taught some self-defence by her parents. Athleticism - Another benefit of her upbringing. While not sporty by nature, Manami has plenty of stamina to burn.
Equipment: School-Approved Delinquent Notebook - A collection of notes containing various misdemeanours by other students. 'Running in the halls' offences have become too numerous to bother listing by now. Generic Brand Flip-Phone - It exists for calls and nothing else. Misc. School Equipment - Whenever it's a school day.
Soul Arts: Ice Queen - By inserting the Soul Art into her chest, Manami gains control over ice. This is mainly manifested by cloaking her fists with ice to increase the power of punches, or trapping enemies with walls of ice, though her range is currently very small, and the ice she creates shatter rather easily.
Brief Backstory: Growing up as the daughter of a foreign army veteran and a local police officer, Manami has had an... interesting childhood. Brought up in an environment of order and discipline, she was a very well-behaved child. Of course, her parents made sure to not be too harsh and provide as much freedom to be a child as possible, but Manami took to their lessons very well, and at their encouragement, took up self-defense lessons. Her early years in education saw her as more of an introverted bookworm than anything, though she got into an occasional argument with the rowdier kids that managed to rile her up in some way. That said, she was much better at putting on a friendly face back then, and was even spotted laughing once or twice! Although, a lot of her classmates ended up failing or dropping from high school exams, much to her worry. Once reaching high school, she joined the disciplinary committee, intent on encouraging the students there to not slack off on their studies. Her efforts, both in tackling delinquency and promoting studying, quickly ensured she would be elected the next head of the committee by the end of her first year, for better or worse.
