[@Joshua Tamashii] - Night ‘… Hmm.’ Laurinda listened to Amelia’s confession, her expression turning from slightly previous exhaustion to mild interest. She raised a single finger to her lips as the woman gazed around at the somewhat out-of-the-ordinary movements of the ghosts, and then looked at Amelia curiously. The Trevenant which Amelia approached slowly turned, revealing its state. Parts of the trunk broke apart to show the darkness beneath to allow it to turn, and a single eye gazing down at Amelia from the crown while the bottom was still ingrained in the ground. At the movement of the Trevenant, a few Phantumps suddenly came flying in from around the woods and hid behind the Trevenant, but peeked out from behind it at Amelia, little tree-skulls peeking out from the sides. Of course, Amelia already knew that the particular tree was a Trevenant, but Laurinda could blink a little in surprise over there, but kept her composure. Laurinda’s Chandelure and Trevenant stood at her sides, watching attentively as well. ‘Treeeee-eh…?’ It made a fairly dark-toned noise of a response, but sure. Amelia could tell. It was totally fine with talking. __________________________ [@Rune_Alchemist] ‘Hmpf! Repay me by giving me an entertaining show upon our arrival! I will accept nothing less!’ Yvonne replied to Claire’s words about the favour, a proud smile on her lips, and then she nodded. ‘Very well! I’ll see all necessary information collected!’ So she said, turning to Laurinda who was dialing a number and had opted not to reply to anything for a bit. Claire finds the couple that runs the hut and gets to pay 100P for getting her Pokémon healed. They were totally super-friendly and she’d be allowed to rest for a while, too, if she wanted. Which was assumingly entirely fine, because it’d take a while before the one that Laurinda had called for would arrive. Way enough time to potentially strike up a conversation or thirteen with someone or two, potentially with her own Pokémon or so, but that’s all up to Claire if she wanted to or not. That said, here’s what will happen. Eventually, after a while of waiting, a cry of a powerful flying bird echoed through the woods. There likely was quite a spectacle as flying Volbeats fled the sight and the light escaped that particular part of the wood as a single silver bird with someone on its back flew in at extraordinary speed before stopping with a single powerful flap right in front of Laurinda and Delphox. Yvonne would be waving to Claire to get over if she was too far away. ‘Laurinda. Not often I get a call from you.’ The man on the bird said to the robed woman while taking off his helmet. He had been wearing a white helmet with goggles and a pair of headphones and a speaker attached to it while in flight, while on his body he wore a shirt and tie of some sorts, marked with a few badges and a symbol that represented the Freecape Ferrymen. Himself, he was an adult man with short black hair, though yet a bit younger than Laurinda. ‘… I don’t often need your help to move. But, this time, the customer is not me, I just had your number.’ Laurinda replied, calm. She then turned to look at Yvonne and Claire. ‘This man’s your ride.’ So she said, causing the man to smirk a little. ‘You know, I wouldn’t mind if you called once or twice outside professional intentions.’ He replied, before he jumped off his metal bird and faced to meet the two of them with a professional expression. ‘I’m Eugene, of the Freecape Ferrymen. And this is Skyhound.’ He said to them.
[sub][sub]Because having images of pilots for a Pokémon ferry service makes perfect sense.[/sub][/sub]
Pokédex Entry #227 – Skarmory, the Armor Bird Pokémon. While looking heavy, its wings are hollow and light allowing for free flight. The Skarmory, Skyhound, gave a little loud bird-cry at the introduction. On his back was a saddle for one or two small, as well as grips and harnesses to ensure a comfortable and safe ride. ‘That said, he’s tired from his trip here. Have a rest.’ Eugene said, lifting a Pokéball and returning the Skarmory to it. ‘We’re looking for tickets for two to Redcoast City. I’m paying.’ Yvonne declared to him. ‘… Alright. Including the fee for making me fly from Freecape here, then to Redcoast, and then I’ll need to fly back… That’ll be 4,950 P per person.’ Eugene stated. Yvonne staggered a little, getting a bit sweaty in her face. It was apparently a bit more than she had imagined. ‘A-as I said, I’m paying…!’ She insisted, however, and got her wallet out of her pocket to take a large percentage of her travel resources to hand over to the Ferryman. ‘Great. So, is everything in order?’ Eugene asked Yvonne and Claire, making sure there were no mistakes happening. Of course, if this post went through things a bit too fast, then Claire can interrupt at any time and say or do whatever she wants. __________________________ [@Pink Madness] Donna made her way inside the larger cave, and there were quite a few Zubats around that were watching her threateningly. This direction was a bit darker than the other directions, and it didn’t help that she may feel like there were tiny movements from here and there with no real telling of what it was coming from… … But there was suddenly one, very unmistakable sound. The sound of crunching, crashing, rock versus rock collision and rolling boulders heading at her from deeper within the cavern. And it was getting louder and louder. Likely, she’d realize it was a single boulder rolling through the cave at high speed. Pokédex Entry #75 – Graveler, the Rock Pokémon. A Graveler’s life consists of travelling up mountains feeding on their rocks to grow big, and then rolling down to the bottom to climb again. Due to their free and uncaring nature, they make some mountain trails very dangerous. … As Donna doesn’t actually currently have the power to stop a rolling Graveler, we’ll assume she was fast enough to dodge aside in any direction she chose. Would make such a terrible mess, otherwise. The rolling Graveler then turned where it was spinning by the previous crossroad Donna had been in and rolled right through the route with the shallow waters and the Surskits, who knows to where, the sound of destructive uncaring rolling rock continuing. But another sound became immediately obvious as well. ‘Geo!’ ‘DUDE!’ ‘Geo, dude!’ A number of very angry rocks that had been sleeping so peacefully was suddenly riling up in force in the wake of the Graveler’s path, and they all seemed very intent on blaming each others for their rude awakening… Pokédex Entry #74 – Geodude, the Rock Pokémon. Found in fields as well as mountains. They commonly rest, half-buried in the ground and indistinguishable from normal rocks. There are always way more Geodude around than a traveler will notice. Stepping on one by accident may trigger their rage. Within moments, the cavern before Donna had descended into a free-for-all of floating two-armed rocks punching and throwing rocks as well as other Geodudes at each other, tackling and rolling into one another for the pain of it, making countless sounds of “geo” and “dude” while doing so. The route beyond them led upwards an incline, who knows where, but it was darker in that direction. Up to Donna what she wanted to do, now. __________________________ [@Pyromaniacwolf] Lucian kept going, passing by Dawkin as he did, and headed for the Wet Caverns. This part of the woods was not challenging to him, and he could find his way there quite easily. Eventually, the path became more steep, going upwards towards a small mountain that stood in the way of those who sought to travel to Lakewatch Town from here. And eventually… here it was. The special little hole in the mountain.

Entrance of Wet Caverns

It’s just a hole, anyone can go in and attempt getting to the other side. It remains wild, just like the Pokémon that await within. However, before Lucian could actually gain entrance, there were two people standing in unconventionally fancy clothes right next to the entrance, talking to one another. One was a young girl with long cyan hair bound with a red ribbon into a pony-tail wearing a green high-class something. The man who looked in his young twenties had red mildly spiky hair, a full suit with black tie, and he was smoking a cigarette. All in all, not the attires one would usually go travelling with, certainly not into the Wet Caverns.

… And they were both extremely out of breath, the guy leaning at the wall with his cigarette in hand with a troubled expression, while the was crouching over with her hands on her legs. Both their outfits were quite dirty and wet, they had clearly been running through the Wet Caverns. ‘W-we got away…’ The girl said. ‘We’re not safe, yet, though. They may figure out we tricked them.’ The man uttered, peeking at the cavern entrance. The girl clenched her fists and glared at him. ‘Y-you…! You made me leave Ducklett! My partner!’ The girl complained, frowning at the guy. As a response, he merely took out his cigarette and breathed out a puff of smoke. ‘Should have packed more Escape Ropes. As it was, it was a necessary sacrifice.’ He answered. In response to this, the girl just looked angrier, but she instead turned towards the entrance of the cavern. ‘Darn you, Team Virtue! Do you really gain so much pleasure from getting in our way!? You already won the war, do you really have to keep us oppressed!? All we wanted to do was poach a few dra-!’ She was suddenly shut up by a sudden cigarette thrusted into her mouth, causing the girl to go wide-eyed and cough out loudly, trying to get the infringing object out of her mouth. Meanwhile, the guy would turn his eyes to look for potential eavesdroppers. If Lucian was out of sight, perhaps he had hidden or something as there had been time for that, the guy would simply be looking out just in case. If Lucian was out in the open, then the guy’s eyes most certainly settled on him with an unamused look that was quite clearly asking “and now, what are you and what are you gonna do?” Of course, it was totally up to Lucian what he wanted to do now. Move on into Wet Caverns, strike a conversation, pull back, surprise the GM… all sorts of things. __________________________ [@Pikmin Eye] With his victory, Martin followed back through the drain. He’d eventually come back to the “kingdom” which he had previously conquered, where me met no opposition as he strolled by. Nobody had woken up Lena yet, she was still sleeping against the wall. He was free to proceed back to Pureplain City. The drain would eventually lead into a river in Pureplain which on its own flooded out into the ocean. Now, that river wasn’t dried up, even though the drain Martin was walking on was, so it eventually just ended in an edge that went down into the water of the river from the side. Martin likely had to use one of a few helpful ladders or steps that appeared here and there to get where he intended on going. [@Eklispe] Meanwhile, Dawkin moved on towards Pireplain City from the other side, passing Lucian in the Infested Woods but otherwise and for ease of things he did not run into anything catastrophically menacing. It was simply a walk back to where he came from, through the woods and also through Route 2 eventually and then back to the city. Both of them would then have pretty similar trips.
[sub]Description somewhat updated with new information trainers have learned![/sub] Pureplain City is placed on the south-west brink of Isson, with the town facing the water and spreading quite far. The further in-town you go, the higher the buildings become, but the suburbs spread quite far. In terms of sheer landmass, it might even compete with Worldedge City, although maybe not in height. Life passes normally within this city. Children grow up alongside their parents in houses in the long, friendly streets. Jobs come from the depths of the town in the taller buildings. Schools grow from the reasonably high amount of children in need of tuition. And of course, there are lots of Pokémon. In Pureplain City, human and Pokémon work together. Be it for manual labour or just for company, Pureplain houses often contain at least one house-hold Pokémon and there are many Trainer's Schools around the city have always been plentifully attended, not counting the recent drop of embarking trainers due to the Team Wars. In addition, Pureplain Harbor is known as the “Gateway of Isson”, as that’s where all the ferries from outside the region dock, giving life to quite the marketplace. A common attraction of the city is the Super Contest stage, but other than that, Pureplain remains what it has always been. Pure and plain.

1. Find Pokémon.
