The KGDF Headquarters: - TOKYO, JAPAN

Metal Gear REX
REX paused for a moment after the similarly stoic and cold female commander addressed him. He wanted to make sure he had addressed everything that was necessary, if naught else to not be a burden on his new...commander. Oddly enough, she seemed as cold as himself to enough of an extent, which seemed efficient in some sense if he were to be honest about the matter. Yet at the same time there was a sliver of something he could pick up while hearing and looking at her as she spoke...humanity, perhaps? He had been briefed by the American government on just what his commander was: an android/cyborg with a human brain of a deceased pilot implanted into her. It was odd, though at the same time rather intriguing as well. A human brain was capable of so much emotion and feeling, if his observations of human soldiers and such back home was of any indication to him in prior years. So as cold as she looked...as stoic as she held herself, was there something locked up underneath? Was there still a "human" of some sort still lying under the surface, at least in some sense of the word? Mmm, but it did not seem fitting to ask about such a matter, especially having first arrived to this place. Perhaps for the sake of curiosity he could find one of the other American androids to speak with, to at least get the feeling of what they were thinking about actually getting to go back home once the bases were repaired. Then he could ascertain where he quarters were after having been just told the location, in order to see what sorts of accommodations he would receive as a new and official member of this facility. After that perhaps finding a training field or firing range of some sort would be possible, though that would come when it was able. For now, though, it was time to respond to his new Commander's question. "Duly noted, Commander," the android said in a professional manner, giving a prompt nod to acknowledge the information she had just given him, before a question slipped off of his lips afterwards out of curiosity about one of the things Commander Kiryu had said, "Though i must ask, why would the American deserve me more than this facility? After all, are we all not working towards protecting the world from kaiju?" He hoped the question would not be rude, but the question seemed to nag at his mind at the last minute. The Americans had effectively dumped him upon this facility as far as he knew, so why would they deserve to have him more than this facility? Not that he was going to say the matter out loud and directly, as such would perhaps sound uncouth for a new android like himself who was speaking to his new commander for the first time. [@Lmpkio]

Monster Island - Pacific Ocean

Otachi
Out of the dark and deep blue waters next to the shore of Monster Island began to emerge yet another kaiju, though not one that was a known or reoccurring resident of the place. Deep, blue colored hair and a pair of horn-like protrusions on her head were signs of her kaiju origins, though her skin was mostly an alien lighter shade of blue as well, something that was more distinct to see as more of her human-like gijinka head became more visible above the water's surface as she moved towards the sandy shore. Her eyes seemed to glow an eerie green not of Earth, though above the water in the daylight it was easier to see, and as such her eyes did not continue to glow as they would have at night. Yet while her eyes did not glow, the two dots on each of her horns continued to glow. As more of her body emerged from the ocean, the lean and sexy figure of the gijinka became visible, as were the spines on her upper back and the long, alien-like tail with glowing spots on it as well. As she finally would come onto the beach in full, however, it was easy to see the three-pronged, sharp, prehensile end of her tail that was far stronger and tougher than one might think. Taking her first breaths of fresh air in days, Otachi looked about from side to side at the initial landscape of the island. It was...odd to her to see areas like this, full of plant and life and tough enough terrain to signify she had come to the right spot. Monster Island, a place where she could perhaps take residence for a time while trying to....figure things out. Yet from the information she still possessed from her creators prior to her somehow "breaking" from their control, this place did have an amount of other monsters here. Some that perhaps might not take kindly to her presence, if she had to guess correctly. Even so, she felt the risk was worth the effort, especially if she was able to give birth here eventually in a possibly safe place if she could find one here. As it were, though, Otachi eventually caught sight of a pair of figures farther down the beach, seemingly human or gijinka in nature if she had to place a guess. Tilting her head with a certain curiosity about just what the two being she was seeing were, the gijinka began to walk down the beach carefully, not wanting to spook the two. Even so, it was not like her sudden emergence and heading towards them would perhaps be taken the best. Still, who knew what would happen? [@Lmpkio][@Gutshot]
