Well Sora was the only one saying it lol. Jess and Mai weren't t even there and he didn't bother asking Ethel XD
So basically he was about to get them involved without their consent XD
Oh another reason was that Sora was going to more or less use them as a means for Ethel's goal of reuniting her family
